recovery with unders does tend to be more painfull than with overs as they cut into the muscle heres some info on partials (when people on here refer to unders they actual mean partials)

Partial submuscular placement of breast implants involves cutting away part of the pectoralis major muscle that is found behind your breasts. The breast implants are then placed partially within the cut away portion of muscle, and partially extending within the subglandular area behind your nipples. An advantage of partial submuscular placement of breast implants is that a more natural look is attainable since much of the implant is covered by muscle mass and not simply breast tissue. This type of placement also decreases the risk of experiencing capsular contractures. Because the muscle tissue has been cut, this type of surgery has a longer recovery time and greater amount of discomfort or pain.xx

I had no pain at all hun. Each girl varies so don’t worry too much. Recovery does tend to take longer, but they say you get a more natural look than with overs. Personally I’ve seen very natural looking, and very fake looking with both placements, and complications can occur with either. I think the real difference is with exercise – if you do a lot and have a very physical job, probably overs would be better x
