So for long time thought my left had dropped and my right was the one taking its time but I’m now starting to feel my left breast has bottomed out. It’s dropped loads, no upper fullness anymore (am only 5weeks po 410 unders from 30a/32aa) the scar no longer sits in the crease and is actually moving up on my boob and can feel a lot of movement in it as well as extremely soft. Also tonight scar has opened up a little with bit of pus coming out. My right seems just right and how an implant should look. Am so scared and worried. Xx

you’ve been so worried about this for so long and unfortunately there hasn’t been much improvement. I think you need to call your surgeon and see him immediately. You need to find peace.

I know I feel so upset over this, Ive been worried since nearly the beginning about the difference i just want to cry!! Ive phoned the emergency nurse and she’s told me to put a plaster on the incision that’s opened and phone my clinic tomor to try and get in ASAP. Am uptown tomor anyway as have an appt for my daughter at st Thomas’ so hopefully they may be able to fit me in tomor to save a few trips up town.

    Hiya hun,

first of all dont panic. I had my op in november and the same thing happened to me. I had a little infection in one of my scars and one of my boobs bottomed out slightly (my right one). I made an appointment and went to see my surgeon, mr singh. He reassured me that everything would be fine. He told me to use a savlon spray on my scars to keep them clean and i just wore sports bras so no underwire would rub them and the scar did heal it just took a little longer for the hole to close up. He said that he would need to do another procedure on the right boob. He said to me not to worry it is a 10min job lol. He explained that sometimes if you have a heavy implant or not much tissue to support it this can happen. It can be sorted. He said what he will need to do is to sew the implant into the pocket to hold it in the right place. Most of the time the implant sits in the pocket by itself but on occasions it doesnt and then it has to be sewn in place so it doesnt move. This is covered and you wont have to pay again.

It will be absolutly fine. Dont worry. Ring MYA and book to see your surgeon. Its a pain having to have another procedure i know but it is a much smaller procedure than your BA and your boobs will look great :)

    Good luck xxxx

Reg would you mind looking at my pics to see if they look similar to yours please? I’ve not added any new ones in a week though. Also have you had this other procedure yet to move the implant back up? Did you feel it move loads? Can really push my implant back up my chest as big gap above it. I’m booked to see mr Singh for my 6 week check up next wed. Am ready to cry my eyes out, feels just my luck. Already have another op booked for 21st June to have a big ovarian cyst removed

I dont think it will be anything to do with your sports bra hun it just happens sometimes, i wore mine all the time and it happened to me. Read what i wrote above if you havent yet. I think you will need to have another procedure to correct it but its early days so you may not. Call MYA and book to see your surgeon. It will be fine it can be sorted :) x

I had a look at you pics and yes i would say that it has bottomed out im afraid hun. Mine havent as much as yours but yes they do look similar. I havent had my op yet as mine have only just bottomed out they were fine this whole time slowly took its bloody time to go wrong lol. They were fine for months then the right boob decided it would bottom out. I saw mr singh a few weeks ago and he said ill need the procedure to correct it im going back to see him again next week then i will book my op. I am so sorry to hear youve got to have another op 3 ops in such a short time period i understand you must be feeling very low but it can and will be sorted and then you will love your new boobs im sure. yes i can feel it move and can push it up too the same as you.

When you go for your 6 week check he will advise you of the procedure to correct it.

Hang in there it may feel like you having bad luck atm but when its all done you will be so happy you went ahead with it.

If you need to talk or have anymore questions feel free to ask and i will keep you updated when i have my procedure. xxx

Amanda what were your stats beforehand and what size implant did you have? Also how long did it take you to bottom out? Sorry for a million questions I’m so upset and scared x

I know you didnt ask me that question. But i had 525cc overs (so a big implant). I am 5ft 4, size 8, 32B/C – 32FF/G (but look DD/E). I noticed mine bottomed out properly around 6 months post-op.

Please try not to be scared hun, your not alone, these things just happen sometimes with BAs youve done nothing wrong and probably nothing could have helped this its just one of those things. It can and will be sorted just remeber that. Its one extra step you have to take to get the boobs you wanted but you will love them afterwards im sure.

Cheer up chick its gonna be ok. xx

Been to the clinic only saw the nurse, the hole that appeared was from a stitch evicting itself so she said will heal fine now. But has arranged for me to go back to see mr Singh tomor as agreed my boob is too low. Didn’t get great news from my daughters hosp appt either so just one long bad day. Will upload some new pics tonight to show how terrible it looks xx
