Help – Anyone been refussed opp due to health condition!?!?

Hi,

Im booked in for my BA in 3 weeks time!

I have Hypothyroidism (under active thyroid) and after MYA have wrote to my specialist and GP they need more blood tests as the first ones came up abnormal.

Im really worried they wont opperate and i have my heart set on new boobies!

hi hunn, it totally depends on if your condition will affect your surgery, there have been cases where patients have died because drs have operated on them despite increased risks due to pre existing health conditions. so they have to be extra carfeul. fingers crossed it wont affect your surgery, it may just mean that they have to take some extra precautions during the op xx

the worste feelin ever hey gemmaalicia im sitting waitin to c if i can still have my op all booked and paid for 2 weeks time, but i have kidney problems and high blood pressure so fingers crossed get put on new tabs this week to lower that and ill b good 2 go xx

hi ya, mya ,transform etc refused my surgery as i have low platelets, but i went to bmi healthcare n they did my op, it was more expensive but its a proper hospital rather than just a cosmetic surgery hospital so it was the safest place to go, if they do refuse ure op,its not the end of the world, try bmi, nuffield, the spire etc xx good luck x

I had my op on thursday threw mya and was at a BMI hospital in glasgow. How much extra did it cost you to go through the hospital direct insted of threw Mya XXX

yea you can have the same surgeons plus the other surgeons which bmi have

mine cost £4250, and a consult fee of £100 but gather its all different depending here you go , i loved it there, really really good exprience xx

thats exactly wot mine cost so basically exactly the same goin threw mya or hospital direct. How long ago did u have ur op? wot size did u have? xx
