HELP- At very early stages…..!!!

Hi everyone,

I’ve only just had my initial consultation after about a year of being unhappy with the way my boobs are after having 2 children. I’ve been given quotes for both a BA and an uplift/BA, although I was told that its more likely that I just need a BA which will be with Mr.Singh. After looking at some of the posts on the site, I don’t even know what some of the terminology means, can I get any advice on what overs/unders mean? Whats low profile?! I’m guessing I should get a bit more clued up before taking the next steps!!! And any feedback on this surgeon would also be great! Thank you x x

hello darling, im having my BA on friday very excited. ok, so, under/over means, where the implant is going to be put, under the muscle or over the muscle. i suspect in your case it will be over the muscle to fill the existing skin after child birth or weight loss. high/low profile means the type of implant, high will give you more shape at the top of the bust which is more common in women that want the boob job look (also cheaper), low profile in a more natural look and wont give as much definition at the top of the bust (more expensice)……..

but when you go and see the surgeon he will advice you on what he thinks will fit and look as you desire.

i personally dont no about this surgeon, sorry.

Thanks Leigh, thats really helpful. Do you get a choice or does the surgeon do what he feels best? I just want the shape back, I want the most natural look available as for me personally, its not about having BIG boobs, just ‘normal’, fuller ones!!! Can I ask if you are having a BA for similar reasons to me? No worries if you’d rather not discuss it x x

hi Vicky, i was very similar to you hun, very unhappy with my boobs after having and breast feeding 3 children! I was left with empty 34b boobs, and after 10 years of wanting a ba, finally plucked up the courage to go for a consultation.

I had my ba over a year ago now, and very happy with my new boobs, just wish that i had had them done sooner! Congrats on taking your first step. Your surgeon will recommend the size and profile of implant, depending on what size and look you are after. x

I was recommended overs, as i had plenty of skin to fill back out again. I think i had gone up to a D cup when i was breast feeding. To be honest, i didn’t find it painful at all, just discomfort really. Having a ba is a lot less painful than child birth! x

i am having them done because i have lost 3 stone and bust gone with it! i am going bigger than i have even been naturally too thought.

first steps lead to big ones, you will be fine!

I had 380cc high profile overs and went from a 34b to 34e

Really didn’t want to be huge, and although an e cup sounds big, they do not look as big when you are dressed. I just feel more in proportion now as i am 5ft 7″

im having 525cc, and estimated to b a dd/e. just depends on your breast pocket andobviously your stats. im very worried about size…..keep thinking im going to b huge!! x

Thats my worry too Leigh!! I don’t want to be huge, just full again. I looked at the 300cc implant at my consultation and thought it looked huge!! But I suppose it depends on your frame etc and the empty space your trying to fill!!
