HELP… CONTRACEPTION

I am currently on the Pill, but am so bloody forgettful with it i miss the odd day and i don’t want anymore kids x .. Can you ladies recommend anything xx

i just dnt like the thought off something in my arm, id be scared off bangin it etc x my docs are really shite… if i want something more thn the pill i have to go to the GSex Clinic at the hospital…… get weird looks as its a GUM clinic…

I had the implant for 3 years, it’s fab. Had a copper coil put in at the start of the year an its brilliant, there’s no hormones in it, so that means no crazy mood swings lol. Best part is, it lasts for 10years x

Yeah I wouldn’t like it either, my friend let me feel it it wasn’t nice.

lol I went to gum clinic when I cut myself on a used needle, everyone was so smiley and friendly and like hey and chatting away as if we were at some bloody book club or something haha suppose it was better than sat in silence thinking everyones thinking you’re a slapper x

i have had the coil fitted now for 18 months and have had no problem, its the copper coil so has no side effects, i have normal periods and nothing have changed since having it and it lasts for 5-10 years x

Hey! You can have an injection in your bum, it last 3 months and is just as effective as the pill etc! I have friends who have it and find it really easy! xxx

Depovera lasts for 3 months,I was given it to stop my periods.

I put on 3 stone in 2 months on the injection but my friend has been on it for years with no trouble at all, its just trial and error. xxx

I have the depo injection and love it! I’ve been my smallest on the injection and no periods!

I was however a little hormonal for the first few months and I think it slows down your sex drive a little

Do feel that sometimes it’s good to have a good clear out if you know what I mean, just waiting for hubby to step up and have the snip lol !! X

I have the non-hormaonal coil it lasts 10 years had it for 3 now its great no mood swings no nothing and periods slightly heavier but for shorter time no complaints xx

i got the arm implant a couple of weeks ago, u cant feel it even when they put it in, i got no pain what so ever, u can only feel it if u run ur finger over it, but if u lift heavy things etc u cant feel it. also they told me the chances of puttin on weight is very unlikely xXx

I have had the implant for 2 years now and i think its great! My periods have stopped on it (although that doesnt happen with everyone), and it hasnt made me put on weight or anything. Its nice to not have to worry about anything for 3 years! xx

ive had the implant coming on 5yrs now!mi love it! i get three periods a yr!

and i work shifts the pill would have been to much of a problem for me to take. so this is easy and i dont have to think bout it haha xx

ive been on microgynon for years now, and ive thought about trying something else but think im just a scardy cat incase i put on more weight n cause im used to having pill with no probs, just hate having periods, plus gunna have to stop taking my pill 2 weeks b4 op n 2 weeks after so, told the bf no sexy time for about a month unless he wear socks to bed to which i got a rite luk lol!! x

Lady c why dont u put it somewhere where u defo wont 4get like infront of d kettle every morning so u wont miss it hun, dont have the coil whatever u do i had d mirena coil put in 18months ago n took it out after 11months of pure agony n bleeding, n never been back to normal since it was awful, ive come off everything now, but am lucky my fella,s had d snip lol xxxx

u dont put weight on with any contraception. there is nothing in the pill/implant/injection that makes u gain weight. its down to ur body thinking u are preggaz that makes u eat more,long as u eat the same u wont gain weight. i never have xx

I have the implant in my left arm and have had it for 2 years now, haven’t had a problem with it, I had the coil before and it didn’t suit me at all. You really do forget about it being there and I do pole dancing for fitness so always banging me arms and gripping the pole with my arms and it hasn’t effected my implant at all or bothered it. xxx

im also on Microgynon the pill. i get on OK taking that, stoped for the last wee as my op is on Tuesday…. no sexy time for me either!! xx
