help for all the girls on the overs/unders/partials drama

Ive had a number of pm’s asking me what partials are so if we keep this bumped up it saves my sore texting thumbs ha ha:

Most surgeons just use the terms under/over

Overs: these are placed within the breast tissue – can give a natural look as long as there is enought tissue to cover the implant.

Full unders: full under are placed below all three layers of chest muscle, lay against ur rib cage. This is a morecomplex op and is not used commonly for cosmetic reasons- usually only used in gender reasignment surgery/reconstructive surgery. Takes a lot longer to perform the op (not the 45-60 mind we have) and also takes a lot longer than the six week healing we have! With full unders the implant cannot be felt at all as the whole implant is covered by muscle. Does have a natural look.

But will feel harder – three muscles cover it!

Partial unders: these are the more commonly used by cosmetic surgeons ( but are commonly called “unders “) these are where the implant is placed under the first layer of chest muscle, the muscle only covers the top and around the sides to a fraction. U can feel the implant at the side and bottom. The muscle covering the top of the implant gives the “natural slope” look, partial placement can mean the boobies feel natural but look firmer than overs. Healing time is the six week and is the normal op time- most people who say “I have unders ” probably 99.9% of the time have partials. The implant will feel softer as time goes on as the first layer of muscle cannot be worked any more, it thins over time! However this does not affect strength as people would think- ive had absolutely no strength loss at all!!

I researched all of this due to thinking I had full unders and when my boobs softened and dropped I could feel the implant which was worrying as I thought I was bottoming out or something was wrong- went to see my surgeon and he confirmed that the above which is my research was correct but that for ease surgeons use the under / over terms.

well it help soften them if I massage them fairyxx?

I massaged from 4 weeks onwards.

i used two fingers, pushed down firmly and made circle movements xxx
