Help for scars, fading etc

Hi Im only 4 weeks post op but I am wondering what I can do at 6 weeks to help my scars. They are definately knitted together really well and they are neat but obviously they are bright red!! Is this what the bio oil is for? To massage in after 6 weeks? Also what are these dermatrix strips and what are they used for? Does anyone have any other recommendations for the scars? Thanks xxx

I used the dermatix cream, it’s expensive but worth it, palmers do a good scar cream too x

I got the scar sheets for afterwards, £25 off ebay normally £100, hope they work!

ive never used nothing on mine and i can barely see my scars im 8 months po xx

They’re like clear plastic and you cut a small bit off and put it on scar for 12 hrs and can change them after that and then wash and reuse the first pair apparently. One of the girls here said her hubby used them after he had skin grafts and they were fantastic, so I thought I’d give them a go x
