help i have a few issues scars & tightness when moving

hey ladies how are we all im 2 weeks 2 days post op and my right side seems to be slightly higher and stiffer then the left. If i move my right arm to reach for something or put my hair in a bobble then i feel it stretch and tighten in the bottom and side of my right boob. Also i have pain in the side in the same place and my scars feel rell lumpy and bumpy under my sterestrips has anyone taken theres of yet?? x

also my right scar feels a bit sore to touch x

I’m the same. Plus bra is sitting right on top of the scar, so not sure whether just not wear one.

I can feel like a tugging sensation, almost like the scab is sticking to the steristrip and being pulled.

I’m 10 days post op and the pain like I’ve been stabbed has eased.

Wish I could fast forward 6 weeks so all this worry would be over lol

aww i know how you feel i wish i was fully healed and could just get on with things. Do u know when we are suppose to take the steristrips off?? x

hey hun im 2wks and 4 days post op, when i had my dressings removed at 7 days the nurse sais i didnt need to wear the steri strips but gave me a pack to take home, i wore them till about day 10 and not worn them since and they have been fine, they have healed brilliantly i wouldnt worry about the lumpyness tho hun mine are exactly the same the incisions feel really thick and lumpy underneath but i was told they will soften over time xx

cheers huni im to scared to take them off lmao, do u have any pulling or stretching pain when u do day to day things x x

Mine do and I’m worried they won’t heal properly

bekky no luv dont really get any pulling pains now thankfuly but up until around day 12 had the most awful stabbing burning pains running from my incision to my nipple, manly in my left boob though felt like it was being rippes off! i was reasured by the nurse and my surgeon that it was a normal part of the healing process. 19fairho my scars are not directly on the crease just slightly above on my boobs which is great as my bras feel really comfortable xx

hello ladies iv rang the nurse shes at the manchester clinic shes called impgen and shes lovely. The pulling sensation is normal i need to stop using my arm as much as i am doing like to put my hair up etc. I dont think my bra is rubbing my scars but she said i can take the strips off now and to expect a little bit of scabbing and tenderness. x x
