Help me!! im scared of the drains

can any1 let me no what it feels like as im that scared of the drains im thinking of changing the surgeon xx

Don’t be scared u can’t hardly feel them coming out cos ur still drowsy from the GA. It’s just a tug. When I saw the fluid that came out I was glad it was drained out than left in there! I had alot less swelling xxx

I was shitting it too, it wasn’t that bad, it was kinda like a pulling sensation,

It was a bit strange, didn’t hurt tho so don’t worry xxx

The drains are a piece of piss Hun….didn’t feel a thing, don’t change your surgeon based on the drains, they are a good thing – they help the swelling x

ohhhh im sooo sooo scared of the day can you tell me aboout ur expericence im shittin it like wen i wake up being in loadsa pain but i really want them done there booked in for 15th november im just a big wimp xx

Your not a wimp love just human. Lol. I’m having my ba in 9 days and crapping myself. Been wanting this for over14yrs. It’s the unknown and wanting it to all go smoothly. Both m daughters have recently had ba’s and were amazed at how good it went. I’ve had drains but on another op. Take a deep breath when they remove them it helps. The drains are nothing honey honestly,its better that the excess fluid drains away from you,they wouldnt use them if it didnt do you any good,you will be fine,you will be here telling your story saying how easy it was,in no time at all, dont worry.xxx

i just not wat im like i had a op on my finger wen came of my horse had to have wire drilled tho my finger nd they have to pull them out with pilers it felt horrible i wanted boob job for about 2 or 3 years im going to be 19 on halloween do u think im to young i getin worried wat people think but wanted them so much there all i keep tlking about xx

Does everyone have to have them? I hadn’t even thought about that. I am more worried about seeing the canula in my hand when I wake up, they freak me out when I see them in other peoples hands so god knows what I’ll be like with one in my hand!

Drains are a decision at the time. I had unexpected drains at the last minute. They are not convenient but they don’t hurt they are just a little annoying as you have to watch they don’t get tangled. The only bit that’s not too pleasant is the few seconds of tug to remove them. But it’s nothing and better than internal bleeding!!! Xxx

The drains are NOTHING. I wasn’t expecting them but came to and there they were, not a problems at all, i’m just glad i wasn’t with it when they put them in! Getting them out out took a matter of milliseconds, the nurse was being really nice and reassuring, i told her forget the drains i don’t care but get that thing out of my hand at once! She found it funny. Neither hurt to remove, they put a bit of pressure on the spot and you feel the pressure not the tube xxx

sophie3110,it dosent matter what people think,this is your choice your life and your happiness,people will always have something to say no matter what you do,thats how life is,but you will not only be getting breasts when you have this operation,you will be getting a new found confidence and believe me,you will be so happy and proud of your body you will not care what anyone thinks,you go for it honey,lifes too short.xxx

i was scared of drains too, dreaded it more then the op, the thought of having them out made me sick, but it was a piece if piss, i didnt feel a thing when she pulled them out! but i had already rationalized that it was worth it for the boobs , good luck, you will be fine xx

I didnt have drains at all, my surgeon doesn’t use them!

i had drains and it hurt more when she pulled back the tape to get them out lol! you can just feel a slight tug but it doesnt hurt just feels bit weird! just annoying carrying them to the toilet lol! x

im also worried about this ur not the only one ha bt yea think im more worried about them coming out ha x
