I have rippling, it’s only when i bend forward and only at the sides, i’m trying to put on weight at the mo as everyone says this will help.

Only had 340 unders so not very big, wasn’t warned by anyone it was a possibility, but don’t want a reop, as long as it doesn’t get worse that is

I’m 8 weeks and could feel it from about 5 weeks

The nurse said to wait and see what the surgeon said at my 3 month check, but as it stands i’d rather leave it than go through all the recovery again as i have two kids and am self employed so it was very disruptive.

Can you feel your all the time? it’s not the scar tissue from the incision is it?

When you have a large implant or thin skin the nature of the implants means that the gel sack can ‘ripple’ when in a certain position.

Imagine a bag filled with water, when you hold it in a certain way you get slight folds or ripples in the bag, does that make sense.

It’s more common with overs than unders as the muscle tends to hide it but with unders you can sometimes see it at the sides or bottom, if you run your hand over mine you can feel an undulation in the skin, this is the rippling.

As i say mine is only when i lean forward and raise my arm but not great! Some girls even get it in their cleavage or at the top of the implant.

I had the standard implants from MYA, if it’s bad you can choose to reoperate with a smaller implant, change to unders from overs or with an overfilled implant which means your boobs will be firmer as the sac is filled with more gel.

Wow 900cc is big! I think it’s up to you if you want them redone but the surgeon would have to agree that they need doing.

If you can live with it then great, there’s not much you can do to get rid of it except put on weight to help put a layer of fat and tissue over the implant. Also was told by another girl that soft massaging may help, think this is just an idea though not a definate solution

I have visible rippling on my left side, when I mentioned it to Kazazzi, he said ‘its just one of those things’, I wasn’t happy with this response at all as I see there’s no chance of a re-op to sort it.. dunno whether that response is right or not, after paying nearly 4k, surely it’s right to expect them perfect?? :)
