Im 3 weeks po and see the nurse yday and have serima and infection. They gave me antibiotics and if that dont work it will need to be drained. Its my left one and its swollen (a cupsize bigger), have high bp, high temp and fast heart rate. My left boob has been really painful constantly since sunday. Phone the nurse and tell her and she will say if she wants to see you x

One of my implants just felt like it was water slooshing about at 3 weeks & I seen my surgeon at 3 weeks & he said it was just a completely normal sensation. I didn’t have anything else wrong I.e. Temperature or anything but it felt horrible compared to the other one for about two weeks & then just went back to normal xxx

Blaire1991, no it’s not a silly question at all, it’s only when this feeling came on and I started googling that I discovered what it was but it’s basically a build up of fluid in the breast tissue x

Antibiotics is for both seroma and infection. Should notice difference in pain and swelling in few days but if it doesnt get better or gets worse it will be drained. Hope it goes ok with nurse x

Yep it’s fluid and swelling so not happy :( no signs of infection or anything, so got to see mr Singh on Monday for him to make a decision on whether to drain them or not, giving my body the weekend to see if it’s absorbed naturally. I thought I was on the road to recovery but it looks like more rest required ( easier said then done with 3 kids )

Oh no hun did they not give u antibiotics? Lol i know what u mean they told me to relax but have 3 yr old and 11 month old boys to look after lol xx

Staceyr, no antibiotics as no sign of infection which is good, just need to relax and see what mr Singh thinks is best, it could be am doing to much but I was feeling great but maybe my body wasn’t ready, if I rest it will determine if it’s just too much too soon or if it don’t go down then at least we know it needs to be drained but giving my body the weekend to try and sort itself out naturally before intervention, so be warned lol rest xx

Yeah if your partner is around the weekend let him take over if poss, mine is working all weekend to by looks of it. Is your swelling bad? Mine is a cupsize bigger then my normal boob thing is its always been that way since op so im wondering if its been like it the whole time and getting pain where its left. Do u have pain? Hope it improves over the weekend for u hun x
