    Hello ladies!!

Thought it would be useful for those waiting/ready for surgery (including me!) to have a list of all the essentials needed from Boots etc. ready for day and post vaser.
Wondered if you gals who have already had your surgery can help me add to the list??

    On the day:
    mags
    tracksuit/post op comfy clothing
    phone/music

    At home:
    painkillers
    anti inflams
arnica pills/lotion (does it actually work? – it’s homeopathy, i.e. quanity of activice ingredient is diluted to nothing!)
    spare bed linen/towels

    Thanks, Bel xxx

    Hi ,

It’s different for me as im male and getting vaser done but im in the same position as you and having my op on the 25th March in Manchester. Im having vaser to my upper and lower abs, flanks and lower back. I think you have covered everthing you would need but ive also been told applying bio oil to the areas helps healing but i want to confirm with my surgeon when i can actually start applying it. I think they give you pain killers and antibiotics to take home and padding but im taking loads of towels to put on the car seat on the way home. Are you have the lymphatic drainage massages done?

Get some tenna lady bed mats as sometimes you leak lots of liquid and it goes everywhere. Its noy painful. They provide you with codeine and then you can take paracetamol and ibuprofen with this one 2 hours then the other 2 hours so your always dossed up. Make sure you have loose clothing as you are really restricted in terms of movement for the first few days. And also bigger clothes for after as hiding the 4D vest isnt easy! Good luck xx

not sure where you are having your vaser but I had inner and outter thighs, you are given what they call sorts to wear with a cut out hole in I am told that people wear their knickers over the top, I had to go for my first check up and didnt want everything hanging out so Brought some side tie Bikinis I was then able to wear these under my compression garment 🙂
