help not sure what to do

am 38 have had 3 kids ive never had big boobs just an A cup but ive lost them with haveing the kids was going to have a ba about 11 year ago but my friends put me off well am booked in for the 9th of aug.but am now thinking am i too old.please help not sure if am doing the right thing .i know deep down it will make me really happy.x

hi gillian, well no one can make the decision but you…i would say that if u backed out once before and are havin second thoughts now then this might be something u need to think a little longer about, however, on the other hand it could be said that f you are still thinking abt it after 11 years and have actually booked in now then this is what u need. all i know is for me this is something i have to do for me, so id be more inclined to encourage you to do it but as i said only u can make that decision. good luck whatever you decide xx

Hi, my mum had hers done when she was about 37, and i could deff see the change in her. She was so much happier, and comfortable. Shes still v happy with them. Hope this helps. But like christy said its really your decision. xx

I am 34 and had mine done last week, best thing ever. I am so glad that i have had them done, it has boosted my confidence alot. I was never happy with my boobs, and wanted to have them done for years. I am sooooo happy that i had them done.

At first my husband was alittle unsure, but hes great now, he realises how much it has gave me my confidence back.

well if age is your only worry then go for it…38 is definately not too old to have a ba! hope they look great! i get mine done on the 18th! cant wait but it still doesnt seem real! :@ x

Well I will be 44 when I have my uplift in october. Have always wanted them done but the children have always come first and now we have decided not to have anymore (we have 5 !) its my turn to look after myself. So booked it before I could change my mind, my eldest daughter who is 20 thinks its silly she said well who is going to see them, well ME actually ! Suppose at 20 when you have lovely pert boobs its difficult to understand but her turn may come ! Go for it Gillian I am sure you won’t be disappointed. Good luck

Hi Gillian, my colleague at work had hers down at 34, she had always wanted to have it done as she was ashamed of her flat chest and lacked confidence. her friends also put her off hence why she had it so late, but she now says its the best thing she ever did!

Gillian, I felt and thought of the same thing Hun! I am also 38 will be 39 in November. I have always thought of the kids first like everyone else here! My daughter is now 16 and my son is 9… I told my daughter that I am having it done, and her comments were… “you have spent 38 yrs of your life with the same size boobs and you are Ok and why do it now”? I said it is about time I look after myself and enjoy life which I am doing.

My BA is on the 11th of Aug and I can’t wait now! I am also having my laser eye surgery at the end of the month! Time to look after ourselves girlssss!!!

I am 41 and having mine done on 30th July, like everyone else children and commitments have always come first and even now I feel a little selfish spending all this money on myself especially as I am a single parent so that’s a holiday the kids will miss out on

Tho the kids weren’t as bothered at the loss that I was and hopefully their dad may take them away for once!

Sometimes we do need to put ourselves first and hopefully the people around us will also benefit from the happier more confident and content person we will become.

Iv just booked mine for 30 July!! Oh im so excited!

The only advice i can give is if your wanting it done, then get it done!! You work all your life, and spend most your life looking after your children, the least you can do is treat yourself! The money isnt a lot if you think about it, its something you will use EVERYDAY for at least 20 years!! Thats like, approximately costing you less than 55p a day to be happy!!!! =oD Simples.

i would just like to say a big big thank you to all.i am going to have my ba on the 9th of aug.am not doing this just to have big boobs to show them off am doing this for me to give me confidents i hate my top half so much.i dont know why i started to think am to old coz i never think of my age untill now how funny is that ive also been thinking what if this goes wrong what if that goes wrong.really need to stop thinking now like lol.xx

I think the medical side of it all has moved on so much, even if anythin was to go wrong, they know what they are doing and im sure they would be able to fix it!! =o) Good luck with the op!! And look forward to your new life =o) xx

in the end there many younger girls around 20ish and i bet you look better than them! and 38 is not old at all!! so you go for it! and get them big boobies out XX ha ha

I thought exactly the same as you, I had mine done June 1st, so Tuesday I’m 6 weeks post op. It’s honestly the best thing I’ve done I have 4 children and am also 38. Yeterday I treated myself to lots of new underwear in the La Senza sale, I was measured and am 36E, I’ve gone from a B cup so I am so chuffed.

On the down side my husband (12 years younger than me) is feeling very insecure, his friends are really teasing him, but hey ho he has to deal with it! He is in the gym everyday and has a lovely body so why shouldn’t I have one!

Anyway I say go for it, I thought about it for years but was always put off by horror stories and friends. Good luck xx

I had my ba in August 2009 so nearly a year post op

I was 39 and it was my early 40th birthday present from hubby!

I’ve had 3 children, and breast feed them all and had ended up with empty 34b boobs, hubby still said he loved them bless him, but i didn’t.

Had wanted to get my boobs sorted for over 10 years, and now just wish i had had them done sooner. I’ve had no problems at all, and had a very quick recovery. I just feel so much more confident now, and love buying new underwear to show them off lol and hubby loves them too

agree with all above had mine 2 years ago after the children empited them out! I love my boobs, I do not say ‘new boobs’ because the way I see it is these are just the boobs I had before having my children! I just went and got them back!
