Welcome to the forum honey,If your husband is supporting you for 2 weeks, that should be enough time to get you well on your way to recovery,I did’nt drive for 2 weeks only because I did’nt have to,not sure if you are insured to drive for the first week due to you having GA,double check with other on that one, showering will depend totally on your nurses instructions as they tend to tailor that to you as an individual, based on how your incisions are healing, well thats what Im guessing as Im not medically trained.Picking up your 2 year old, other members may be able to advise on that as I don’t have small children, but I can imagine you would have to take special care when you are given the go ahead to do so,due to stretching. The gym again your nurse will give you instructions on when you can return to the gym,as for the implant honey, they surgeon will offer you implants based on your measurements and the information you give him/her on the size you hope to achieve.

    hope this helps.xx

My situation is very similar to yours, I’m booked in for an uplift and BA in May with Dr Russo. I have a 3yr old and a 10 month old baby, my husband and I have booked 2 wks off work, hopefully this will be enough since I don’t get much leave and there is no one else to help. He said I won’t be able to lift the kids for 2wks which is going to be awful I don’t know how I will cope with that but I have to go ahead with this since I’ve been left with awful boobs after breastfeeding. Its only 2 wks, I hope that the end result will be worth it. I’ve been told no gym until after the six wk check so I’m trying to get in good shape now then hopefully will all look good when I get my new boobies. There will be huge benfits for the men in the end :), have you had your consultation yet?

Hi Ladies, I’m booked in for ba and uplift in with Dr Russo in less than two weeks time. I’m extremely nervous and also concerned as I haven’t even discussed implant sizes, whether they’re under or over the muscle – is this something you discuss on the day or would you suggest I try and get another appointment with my surgeon beforehand? Deb I see you had Dr Russo too, how are you feeling afterwards and are you pleased with your results? x
