Help !!! Please ladies

Hi wondered if anyone was Ill before surgery ?
I’m 11 days till my op and I’ve got tonsillitus.
Got 7 days worth of anti biotics. And I’m terrified to tell them incase they cancel op.
Doc said it will be fine by 7 days.
Anyone else had similar problem. ? Thanks

Hun i had a sickness but 3 days before my op. I didnt say anything i thought i would chance it and just see if i got over it and luckily i did. I was also speaking to another girl who had tonsillitis a week before and she was ok xx

I’m just worried as it an infection is the body if it’s dangerous. It’s something I’m going to have to tell them but maybe when’s it’s cleared got another 10 days.

It will be gone by then hun as long as you take your antibiotics religiously and complete the prescribed course x get well soon xx

Operate ? I wanna be honest. My last appointment is this Friday with op next.
So if I tell him at last appointment it should be gone by then. I’m so worried x

Yeah I’d mention it but also tell them you have been treated and will have completed the course by the day op your op , only thing is I’m sure they put a tube down your throat when you are put to sleep so if it hadn’t cleared properly this might cause concern ??? Xx

I’m glad somebody has mentioned this… I’ve been prone to summer colds last couple of years….

Half of my Post missing again grrr…
Would that still class as a date change for surgery ?? Hopefully I will be fine. Can’t wait for sept !!!
