Does anyone know if it’s normal to have pain in one boob but not the other? Its not constant just when I move around, if I’m laying or sitting down it’s fine but when I move my arms and stuff it’s really painful! I’m only 4/5 days post op and they nurse said it sounds normal but I’m just really concerned after reading a few posts on here about infections and the formation of a seroma :( the boob that’s painful is also much more swollen and hot…

I’m going to speak to the nurse again tomorrow, I really hope I’m just over reacting but I just have a horrible feeling somethings not right.

Has anyone who’s had anything like this?

This is what I’m hoping :) just I little worrying as my right boob is absolutely fine not had much pain or anything. Where as my left is causing me loads of pain gggrrr lol it’s still really swollen too even up to my neck, when I press on my chest it makes a noise, the nurse said it’s prob trapped air from when the impant was inserted. Its makes me feel a bit sick lol.

Thanks for the reassurance tho :) xxx

Mine are exactly the same!! Only it’s my right boob causing me the pain and my left is absolutly fine!! I also have the trapped air bubbles in my chest and neck, if I run my fingers along my sling they pop! It makes me cringe!!

Ahh you’ll feel 100 x better when you’ve had your hair washed :) my incisions havent really given me any problems… Yet! Mine are all I little numb but can still feel them when I touch apart from the right side of left boob, that’s got no feeling at all yet it’s the only part that really hurts when I move suddenly.

Have you been taking your meds? Xxx

I take the co codomol before bed coz it was making me sick when I was having it every 4-6 hours so just been having paracetamol during the day! Nearly finished my anti biotics and had to use the lactulose coz I’ve been so bloated!!

    How about you?

I’ve been taking the co codomol all the time, well only as recommended lol every 4-6hours I’m scared not to take it encase I’m in loads of pain. I felt sick the 1st morning after my op I put it down to taking to much co codomol as I prob still had a cocktail of other drugs still in me from the hospital. But since then I’ve not felt sick, just very bloated :(

I wasn’t given any lactoluse although it does say in the letter that the hospital gave me for my doctor that lactoluse is one of the perscriptions they gave me!

I’ve also been taking the antibiotics which are a pain as it’s every 8 hours which for me means… 8am, 4pm and then 12 midnight! So I have to make sure I’m awake to take it ha. xxx

I’ve felt ok just taking paracetamol during the day so give that a try! The codine bloats you and makes you drowsy so you might feel better if you reduce them!!

I was given the lactulose! My antibiotics are only twice a day so I take one with breakfast and one with tea!!

I think I’ll try just taking paracetamol for the next few days and see how I get on then :)

I’ve just checked my antibiotics and I’ve been given – co-amoxiclav. Is that the same as yours? Xxx

Hey girls these air bubbles you both have, how do they go away? It’s freaking me out thinking that air bubbles will just be floating about after the op X

Hi Stacey! I’m not sure where they go but I’m 5 days post op now and they have all gone!! When I discovered them and pressed firmly on my skin it was like they where bursting! It was a strange sensation but didn’t last very long!!
