help , saving money !

Hey ladies , I’ve told a lot of people that I do 2 jobs to save for ba ! I work 45 hrs in hairdressers for 175 pounds then I working 17 hours in a bar for 102 pounds . At the moment I feel pushed out of hairdressers as my manager nt booking clients in as we have a newly qualified hairdresser who we pay less then me . Last week this really upset me and at the bar some one been sacked . So I’d be earning 180 pound . More then hairdressers but losing 100 as usually work 67 hrs a week. Including both jobs . I either put a thousand on my credit card for this op and happy life or work 2 jobs still . What wud u do x

he hun i am saving too lol its long aint it by time ive finished mine aint gonna be done til feb trying to get it earlyer cause got 3 kids and school clashes but waiting to see i am a house wife get 140 week i put 100 away in piggy bank scheme a week so i aint left skint cause u skint yaself too much u just get bored of saving are u getting them done in london hun

aawwww miss georgia i know how u feel im scrimping and saving too. i did hairdressing for years and the pay in a salon is shocking. u wud be better working full time in a call centre (approx £210 per week plus commission) anddoing mobile hairdressing on the side and doin ur bar work. id never work in a salon its shocking money. when i started as a juior i was working 45 hours a week and came out with £45 a week.. so a £1 an hour!!! even when qualified my basic was only £100 a week pus commission. its slave labour and always will be hun xxxxx

I know and I’m really shy so basically get spoken like shit thinking about working for my mum in iterior design and bar . But I’m going to be 600 pound short for my op !x

yeah u have to stand up for urself in that industry. knock the salon on the head and change career, plus u will get most weekends to urself, no more workin every st. plus they sssoo bitchy in a salon. xxxx

Hey girls I’m in the same boat! But…. Have you tried mystery shopping? I have done a couple of these and managed to make £40 extra this month to go towards my BA with 2 shops! If you go onto the money saving expert site there is a thread on there, search mystery shopping and it will give you links to all the reputable companies in the uk. Takes a while to sign up with tests to do but it is extra cash! Another one is slice the pie, a site where you get paid to review new music, get paid from 2 cents to 25 cents a song, soon builds up!!! I hope this helps you, every little helps!! ( plus it would ne good to know I’m not the only one doing EVERYTHING possible for some extra pennies ) xx
