Help! Should I be wearing sprts bra or not?? straight after BA??!

Hey Girlies!!

Feeling a little confused right now, I had BA with Dr Kazzazi today and he told me to wear my sports bra home as its cold outside then take it off when arrive home. Which is great!! But then lateron the nurse told me to put my sports bra on just before I leave the hospital and not to take it off until my 1 wk check up.

Any ideas if I should be wearing it right nw or not? Feeling slight pain too. Any tips on wat u girls dun wud b great. Many thanks in advance xx

I had mr kazazzi 3 weeks ago, he’s fab btw do you have the tape on? X

If you have the tape on you don’t need your sports bra at all for the first week until its romoved because you are supported enough. I just had a breast enlargement. xxx

Alison had mine yday aswell were u at highgate? I had Dr Kazzazi to! I was told the same to wear sports bra over the top! Tbh I feel more supported with the bra on it’s not constricting atall! The tape doesnt feel that supportive when I stand up!Today I will phone the nurse n ask and let u no! Wot size did u get etc? How u feeling?

Hi all, had my BA at Highgate 24 jan with Dr Grob, I was told by surgeon and nurses to leave bra on day and night for 6 weeks!! But I have left off this weekend as tapes off and think bra was rubbing scars and had a little leak, they are fine now they have dried up, but have to say did feel vulnerable with it off, sleeping on side ok now to, just my v pillow for support, think stick with what you feel most comfortable, just keep clean and dry as poss. happy healing x x x

every surgeon has their own preference…my surgeon Mr Adamo said not to wear a bra for the first week then wear a spors bra if i feel i want to but dont have to..im day 12 and worn mine about 4 times.x

good, think I will leave mine off for a bit. At work today and rib band has rubbed my scab off yet again! doh! still love ’em to bits though

I had Mr Russo and told not to wear a bra for 4 weeks!! I’m looking forward to being able to wear one. I think it’s surgeon dependent and also if you have unders or overs x
