Help… Sore worried!!

Hi. One of my incisions it’s really red. I expect to be sore but I’m 4 weeks post op would expect the pain to reduce? I’ve attached a picture.! Thank you

Hi hon…sorry to hear you’re still sore. I’m only 12 days post op but my friend is 8 weeks post op and hers are still pretty red and a bit sore so I think it’s pretty normal…we naturally heal on the outside first but all the tissues inside are still healing. Just look after yourself and I’m sure they will get better over the next few weeks.
Just a note. ..I’ve been taking echinacea tablets…they’re herbal and help.with your immune system but particularly they help with slow healing wounds…. £4 in Boots hon….I take 2 twice a day and noticed a diff with my bruising and healing when I started taking them xx

I’m 7 weeks post op and mine are still red and ache sometimes I’ll add a picture to show you but it’s fine x
