Help!! Tips before my op on colds

Ok nurse told me stop taking vit C now I am worried if I get a cold. How can I stop from getting one? Or has anyone kept taking vit C ? I’ve got 16days I’m fine now just dnt want to catch one when I stop taking them n my op being cancelled xx

my nurse asked me what i was taking an i told her, vitamin c, zinc & vitamin D, and she said “thats good carry on taking those”, but if urs said to stop then listen to her i guess coz each surgeon/nurse has ther own advice xx

I carried on with the vitamin c,only because the nurse said I was ok to do so,but we are all given different instructions,I would say follow the advise you are given,as the service seems to be tailored to you as an individual.The nurses work alongside the surgeons,so they know what the surgeon prefers.

For my BA I used Mario Russo,he recommended Arnica and vitamin C

For my Rhinoplasty I used Stepan Gonschior he said do not take Arnica,he didnt recommend I take any supplements,so it really does depend which surgeon you use.xxx

Why no vitamin C, I wonder? I’ve been taking it and also a multivitamin every day, in prep for my op in just over 2 weeks… Confusing.
