help ! when can i sleep lying down on my back this is killing me

I had my op on Wednesday 415 cc overs I feel fine and had no pain at all , only in my neck and back cause I am sleeping sitting up , does anyone know how soon I can lie flatter ?? And dies anyone know the reason why we have to sleep sitting up x

I’m still laid awake now! Completely fed up of not being able to sleep think I’m going to buy something to help me sleep see if that helps! Think we have a little while yet until we can sleep back on our sides hope you have managed to get some sleep xx think the reason for sleeping up right is to do with dvt and helps reduce swelling xx

I was a month before I could properly sleep on my side. I had unders though. Even now at 5 weeks PO, it’s strange as my boobs arent properly mobile and softened yet so I can feel them pushing into the matress when I’m lay either side xx

Same here….must of been 2am before I finally nodded off and been awake since 6am it’s just not naturalsleeping sat up!! I’ll definitely be having a siesta on the sofa this aft!! Stick with it girls xxx
