    Hi girls,

when I saw the nurse she told me when I get my post surgery bra to go a back size and cup size up now I’m kinda baffled as I always wear a 36 back in bras but the surgeon told me I was a 34 so do I just get the 36 :S

I’m not too sure what cup size I’ll be either if I’ve been told I’ll be a big D does that mean I should get a DD or an E?

With regards to sizing I’ve looked at the Asda, tesco, M&S and macom bras do I go a size up in the macom? Did anyone else go a size up in the Asda, tesco, M&S? any recommendations?

Just get the MaCom hun, you only need to buy small, med, or large and the cups are expandable so will fit when you are swollen, and when the swelling goes down. It doesn’t irritate your scars like the other sports/ post surgery bras, and it fastens at the front. As a 34 you’ll need a medium

Get it here and enter the code “mybreast” for a 15% discount – https://www.macom-medical.com/products-40-breast_augmentation_surgical_bra.html :) xx

I’m having the same dilemma, I think I’m going to buy 34DD bras as I would like to end up a 32D but as for the Macom. Do we need to buy the next back size up i.e a 34(medium) when you are usually a 32?? x

defo buy the MaCom bra, its a bit pricey but its comfy :) im still wearing mine for bed 7 weeks post op and like ‘newboobies’ says its fully expendable so will defo fit! I got a 36 large and it fit perfect, I was a 34B and had 525cc implants I got a 36 back as was adviced by nurse to buy 1 back size bigger than usual and I wore it must of the time on tightiest but when I was very swollen at first it was nice to have it not so tight for comfort. Hook and eye front so mega easy to get on and off post op xx

No, you buy the back size you would normally use. The cups are expandable so the bra fits however swollen you are. There is a size guide on the website xx
