Help with stitches after a week

I don’t have a shower at my house only a huge jacuzzi bath. Which I know I have t deprive myself off ATM. Lol. Go I’m iff to my mother in laws tonight for a shower. I’m 11 days op now. What do I do. Shall I wet them.

Nurse said sumat bout wetting them taking sterristrips strips off. Only using baby bath to wash boobs with. Massaging them. Pat dry with s clean towel and new tape on em.

BUT I can’t remember the days!!!!

When you get in the shower just let the water trickle over them honey,this should make the steristrips wet and they may fall off by them selves,I wasnt allowed the shower till my stitches were trimmed,at 2 weeks,everyone seems to get different instructions,give the nurse a quick call honey,she wont mind,at least then you will be following the instructions tailored to you.

iwas 11 days post opp having my shower, as you said dont use any perfumed soap products to wash either simple products or baby products, once your strips are wet slowely peel thhem off, once out of the shower pat them dry, make sure they are fully dry before getting dressed as moist area are perfect for germs. good luck xx

i was able to shower at 8 days,i don’t wash the scars and just use an antibacterial wipe on them afterwardas then i use a hairdryer on cool to dry the scars afterwards xx
