help with uplift sticky bandage thing?

Hi ppl, had lift with implants and any1 who’s had similar will knw the sticky bandage type thing that goes around ur boobs? We’ll did any1 elses start to peel away around the edges? And wat was it like when the nurse peeled it off? Thanks xx

I’m 5days post op btw but my post op appt isn’t until I’m 9days p.o so its gonna be stayin on an extra 2days

i took the top half of mine off at 5 days post op…i rang the nurse first to see if it would be ok as it was annoying me and was starting to peel away…i saw my nurse at 8 days po and she took the rest off, it didn’t hurt but i had a lot of bruising down my left side xx

Thanks for that, I mite b tempted to ring nurse then n see if she’l let me… Its drivin me nuts n feels so unhygenic, can’t even wash my underarms I must stink lol x

no probs…i hated it, and i really think i did start to stink lol…i was paranoid asking everyone to ‘sniff me’ haha! Give the nurse a ring and see what she says, i just couldn’t stand it any more but i left the bottom half on…who did your op? I had helena xx

Me too! She’s amazin isn’t she I want to adopt her lol. Dya reckon I cud ring that number on yellow card now cos its not office hours is it… Need to do some serious deoderising lol xx

I managed to keep mine very clean and dry because I didn’t want to do th two hour journey for the week po check. My bandage stayed on perfectly for two weeks. I think the longer you leave them untouched the better it is. I was very bruised and on my two week check w Mario and nurse they took off the bandages left on the strips and trimmed my stitches. Then they put on waterproof plasters on me so I cd shower and a week later I peeled them off as they were getting frayed and coming off. That was at three weeks. So I didn’t see the scars for three weeks. Good thing too because they really shocked me when I saw them So iwd strongly advise you leave dressings on for as long as possible for lots of reasons but keep them clean anddry. Always keep bra on even in bath to help keep stitches dry. Ultimately it’s for the best!!! Xxxxx

Yey just rang the nurse n she said its fine take it off! Not detremental to healin in anyway phew. So its now n my god they’re lookin great lol feel a new woman without that on haha xx

it feels loads better doesn’t it hun once the tape is off xx

Hi Scarlet, I’m taped up 2 the eyeballs 2 haha!! I’m back Weds think I’m going 2 just leave mine on cos I know it’s going 2 hurt when it comes off! I’m thinking it would be like waxing urself Haha.

I took mine off yesterday night, 48 hrs post op…Mr kazzazi and the nurses said that I could remove it as it was causing serious irritation and rashes. they look HUGE now!

Xscarletx im 5 days post op hun, the tapes still on Lol!! Iwas sat out in the sun it was getting very hot Haha Xxxx
