HELP!!! Worried about scar :-(

i’m 15 days post op and the scar on my left boob appears to be open a little bit or some skin has come away. I had my stitches taken out on friday and the nurse said it was all fine, then when i took the steri strips off sunday eve i noticed it was like this. I’ve got a pic up of it from day 12. Last night when I had a shower, i was careful not to aggrevate it or get any shower gel etc in it and then patted it dry but it looks like there is dried blood and I don’t know whether to try and clean that off of just leave it (sorry sounds a bit disgusting!) Has anyone else had this and did it heal ok? Im worried it will open! thanks xxxx

Babe give the nurse a call and describe what it looks like. They’re there to help, so put your mind at ease. Just had a look at your pics and I see what you mean. I can’t give any personal advice (im 9days po still got dressings on). On the plus side, the twins look great x

Aw fanx tam yep il call her 2mora mornin i started worrying more as was lookin at other peoples pics n everyones scars looked fine. Wen r u havin dressins off? Bet u cant wait! xx

Totally normal that you’d worry. I should be getting them off on Monday. So excited lol under the dressings is so itchy x
