Hi girls. Well it is 6 weeks today since my op but it is not all perfect. About a week ago I noticed a tiny hole in the corner of my right scar- i think it’s where a small bit of stitch was coming out. The stitch is gone but the hole is not closed up at all and I should imagine after a week since I seen it first it should be gone (it’s about 1mm in size and not gettin bigger or anything) Now if that wasn’t enough yesterday both of them became red and sore the one with hole has plasma with a bit of blood coming ot of it :((( my 6 weeks check up is on wednesday so will get to see him soon and will phone the nurse as soon as I can. I’m at work today so can’t do it now. So angry as I was careful and everything was going well so far. Enybody seen anything like it before??? Help :(

It’s probably nothinkg to worry about hun but these things are always best to be checked so rung your nurse before rather than waiting til weds. Maybe you just pulled it without realising and it’s opened a little bit? Try not to worry though, you’ll prabably be fine! x x x

I would ring the nurse as soon as you can, and maybe bring your post op forward? X

Why oh why nikki goes for holiday when I need her most :)))

Just been on the phone to nurse and she said to keep it covered and dry. I should be fine till wednesday- as that is my 6 weeks check up and do have an appointment now for nurse to look at it. F… why me? Why do we ever get trouble with our boobies?

I had a look and she was active a couple of hours ago. If ya that worried pm her and see if she replies. May put your mind at ease till next Wednesday. (Im sure it was Nikki thaat it happened too) x

It happened to me too (during my first BA) the stitch inside decided to poke out 4 weeks after my op, it was really uncomfortable so I went to see the nurse and she snipped the stitch and covered me up and it healed nicely. Nothing to worry about hun xx
