Bless you hun….I bet it’s the painkillers. Yes you need to be drink 2-3 litres of water a day and have a tonne of veg with your evening meal. I have had no problems because of doing this and im convinced that’s why and im religiously taking my meds every 4 hours. Xx

I do eat a lot of veg tbh I just haven’t recently! I haven’t been taking pain killers often just at night before bed as I’m not in any pain! Just don’t want it to suddenly to creep up on me! Thanks girls xx

I’m having exactly the same problem had mine on Monday and not been able to go to the toilet. I thought I might be the antibiotics because I’ve not been having pain killers either xx

I have had something that you put in bum when I had an op a few years ago so that I could go to the toilet, worth a try if you can get hold of them xxx

My friend is a GP and he said that co codomol is a well known for constipation. Laxatives might be the only way to relieve it if you continue taking them. I didn’t have co codomol, my surgeon prescribed only ibuprofen and paracetamol which was fine for my pain and I didn’t get the dreaded bloat xx
