thanks hun thats good to know,..as ive been sat down most of day panicking ha! its different for everyone and its all part of healing process, theres bound to be diff pains here and there when you think of what we had done! its just each day that goes by i thought would feel better and as today is day 6 i actually felt better day 3/4! am just so looking forward to seeing the nurse and seeing the scars. Its also strange how all the surgeons use different techniques post op.I had an overnight stay and hand badages of next morn,..sports bra on and off i went where as other girls are bandaged untill there next check up? xx

Yes ive seen girls bandaged up and all I had was strips over the scars! Also my surgeon insists on tape that is non waterproof so I couldn’t shower for a week untill I saw the nurse that proved difficult with having to wash my hair. I had my op 15th Dec so not even 2 weeks post op yet, I was in alot of pain at first which calmed down after about 5 days but im quite saw again at the moment. Its the worst when I get out of bed in the mornings its like they are stuck in one position and so stiff to move. Bra is really irritating my nipples too have had to take it off this evening! Don’t regret a thing though :) xx

hey i was the same, had a bad day around day 5 or 6 but better now im at day 10. i was taped for a week then steri strips for 3 days, had my first shower today. had to use sponges in a shallow bath and wash my hair in the sink til today.

I really dont know but I hope they soften and settle soon because sleeping is a nightmare. When I wake up my back hurts due to sleeping awkwardly and as soon as i go to sit up and my boobs change position as in drop the smallest bit they hurt alot!! Its as if they shouldn’t be moving but they’ve got to. I dont want my strips to come off im a little apprehensive about seeing my scars eek!xx

hi, i had mine on the 22nd Dec. From reading these i may have a bit more sleeping upright (i really hate that).Im not sure if i have stitches, i suppoose i must do? didn’t really think about it. do they hurt when removed? I have had quite a similar experience of pain in left boob and a general feeling that they expand at certain times of the day. so good to know all normal, but i can’t complain i have been ok with it all. Happy healing girls XX

Hi naty128 im in at 4pm for my stiches tmrw,..what about you?

pain in left boob still mild but nowhere near as bad as yet,..i ended up ringing nurse on emergency number on my card (felt abit silly) i mentioned the pain under boob and when i gently touched over my plaster could feel something hard and the nurse explained its abit of dried blood around the area so that is why felt sore so tomorrow when nurse works her magic all will be fine phewwwww!

may put a few pics up later as know it really helps as its helped me looking at others,..am so please with the results,.they are sitting quite far apart and still quite swollen (today is day 7 cant believe im a week post op) do any of you girls now if when they drop does that mean they come more into the middle? happy healing girlys xxx
