    Hey AmyLou!

    How you doing today?

As for sleeping on your back- do you have a v-pillow? Cos I find the v-pillow much more comfy than a normal pillow as you can kind of mould it round you and move your head, legs and body slightly to the side… Well done for not taking the painkillers, I found them useful to take at night cos they helped me sleep!

Rest up hun, it gets easier quicker than you think!

Hi amylou :) how r u feeling now?? I had the same problem with the sleeping i ended up slipping down the bed and my boobs would ache for a bit when i got up!! I found putting a pillow behind ur knees helps a bit – or moving pillows down a bit so ur feet are already at the bottom of the bed lol – hard work haha  I am 2 weeks post op now and i can finally sleep on my side without too much discomfort!!

Parisa the v pillow is like the ones they have in hospitals its just a pillow in a v shape 😉 I got mine from shaws – was only a fiver  Hope this helps xx

Hey girls i’m not feeling too bad now. Getting some of the sensation back in my boobs now which feels really odd cause its like they are vibrating! Can’t wait to get the dressings taken off and look at how my incisions are healing and its itching like mad. I’m down to a 36D sports bra now but don’t mind as long as stay around this size cause people have noticed the difference. Hey Parisa a v pillow is very handy to have chick helps to support your neck a bit too when you have to lay down on your back. How you feeling now melissa? Are you happy with your size and have you found that most of the swelling goes down in the first week?

    Hey Amylou,
Just been reading your story my op is 21st dec with mr kazzazi, im similar stats 5ft 2, 8 stone 5, small 34 b mr kazzazi gave me option of 340 or 380 he said he would give me no smaller than 340 and said he would definately recommend the 380 for myself, he also said I could go bigger but if I only wanted d and more natural look to stick with 380s. I only want to be d would not be do fussed if dd but dont want to be any bigger than that. I am worrying that 380 may be a bit bigger than i wanted but I know 40cc is very small and I am having unders with mh profile implants. Are you happy you went for 340, have u been measured yet everyone seems to be a lot bigger than they are in sports bras, what size do you think you will be? Do you have any pics yet, sorry lots of questions I justdont know whether to ask for smaller option. If you hsve any pics could I have a look please my email is hb5mca@student.sunderland.ac.uk xx

Amylou, I was getting vibrating boob at around 8 or 9 days, it’s a weird feeling isn’t it but I did find it was helping the swelling to go down though. Glad to hear you’re doing well xxx

He mel i’m happy i went with the 340cc and i’m wearing a 36D sports bra at the mo but haven’t been measured yet. I’m going to wait a few more weeks yet. If your having unders i would go for the 380cc just cause they might look a bit smaller. I’ll be looking forward to getting measured as it sounds like lots of the girls are getting a nice suprise when they have been measured.

Hey rio how are you doing? The only thing that is driving me crazy is the dressings at the mo they are either itchy or make my skin feel sore. x

Hey parisa i haven’t had much discomfort at all and they do give you co-dydramol for the pain but i have only taken a couple just to help me sleep at night.

hey could u help girls, im 5ft5 size 8 and currently a 32a…have been advised by my surgeon to go for something like a 260 unders..was hoping to achieve a big c-d…but now reading all the threads on here am thinking they may be too small? and glad it all went well amylou…im from sunny south wales too :-) haha x

Hey chick i’m 5ft3 8st7 about size 8/10 and was a small 34b. It does depend on your frame and how much breast tissue you have etc. perhaps you should go back to the surgeon and ask if it is possible to go bigger. It might be that the 260 is all he can fit in at the moment.

I couldnt decide on a size implant. He has given me 340cc or 420cc. im having them over the muscle.im an empty c after breastfeeding. I went to an e when I was pregnant and lvd it lol. Mr C thinks if I go for the bigger implant you may b able to c the outline of it which I dont want but think the 34occ is 2 small. Does he talk much at the hosp.He seemed shy when I went 4my cons

Yayyy!! Aw well done hun. I saw your post on the previous thread and went searching for your story haha, I’m one step ahead of you!

Sounds like you had a brilliant experience, am really happy for you. Once you’ve been through it you just want to tell everyone else not to worry and enjoy it don’t you! I remember having a banging headache before the op as well, must be common if you had it too, maybe lack of food mixed with anxiety?

What were your pre op stats hun I can’t remember now but how fab to be filling a dd bra! xxx

Hey rio yeah think it must have been a bit of a stress headache. I’m 5ft 3 and 8st 7. Still had a bit of the macrolane in my boobs so was a full 34b with that but mr c took that out and at the moment it feels very strange to be filling a DD bra! Hoping i end up a D cup and ended up going for the 340cc just in case cause didn’t want to end up with a huge ridge from the implant. How are yours feeling now? Mine are so high up and under my armpits at the moment.

Hey alex yeah my cousin has told me to take it easy even if i do feel ok cause she felt fine after her op but then managed to knacker herself by doing too much. Its going to be hard cause i’m not used to sitting around and doing nothing.

Glad my story has helped to put you girls at ease. It is strange how we all get worked up about things but it is fear of the unknown which is perfectly natural. You just have to keep your mind on the end result. I’ve taken 9 years to pluck up the courage to do it and that was because i was so scared. Feel a bit silly about it now.

Hey girls well i’m back from having my ba with mr chantarasak at highgate yesterday afternoon. Didn’t sleep at all the night before but tried to take advantage of sleeping on my front for the last time. Got up and left the house at 6.30 from sunny south wales to get to highgate for 11am. Once i arrived i was taken up to my room (303) and the nurse came in and went through a few detail with me and gave me my sexy stockings and hospital gown. Mr chantarasak then popped in to mark me up and just to double check i was happy with what he was going to do. Was quite strange cause felt quite stressed at this point and still had a headache from the night before but all i could think about is having food once i had come around from the anaesthetic! The anaesthetist then came in to chat to me and he was lovely and put me at ease as i’ve never had a general before. Then around 12.30 the nurse came in to take me to theatre and i gave my boyfriend lots of kisses. I was taken down to theatre and was told to make myself comfortable on the table. The anaesthetist then put the cannulae in my arm which i didn’t feel at all and the was the part i was dreading! Then i had the mask to breath in the gas and then i was fast asleep! Next thing i knew i was waking up in recovery and chatting away to the nurse looking after me but can’t for the life of me remember what i was babbling on about.

I was then taken back upto the room where my lovely boyfriend was waiting for me. I felt great and had a peak at my new boobs but they were covered with bandages but i could see the difference. Mr chantarasak came in to check on how i was doing and the nurses came in regularly to check my obs. The nurses were all lovely and half hour after being in the room i had a few sips of water and then had my tea and toast which was like heaven lol. Any of you girls that are waiting to have your ba and haven’t had a general before there really isn’t anything to worry about. I felt as if i had a lovely sleep and felt so relaxed and rested. Haven’t needed to take any painkillers as yet but they have started to feel quite heavy it’s a strange feeling. At the moment i’m wearing my 36DD bra but hoping they don’t shrink too much when the swelling goes down.

I’m part of the boobie brigade now! woohoo!

Get plenty of rest, drink lots of water and I recommend ‘milk thistle extract’ and ‘artichoke extract’ to give your liver a good clean up after the GA and painkillers!

I had 340’s too will be putting pics up in next couple of days so will say when it’s done!

Thanks for the tips on the milk thistle YoYo will give that a try. I’m happy that i haven’t needed to take any painkillers but not so happy with the lack of sleep. It’s no fun lying on your back.
