    Hi Leigh,

I was in exactly the same position as you about 6 weeks ago!

First thing to do is to start looking at clinics/surgeons that you are interested in getting an opinion from. Where abouts do you live? There are lots of clinics and surgeons so do your research and see which ones you’d like to go and see and then i’d reccommend making an appointment with 2 or 3 so you can have consulations with them and see who you feel most comfortable with.

Don’t worry too much about implant size and placement because the surgeon will tell you whats best for you. Just have a rough idea of what cup size ud like to be post-op and whether u want the natural or fake look so u can give ur surgeon an ide of what you want.

I’d also look into all the risk/complications so that you are prepared and know what to expect and what could potentially go wrong.

Theres a brilliant website called So Feminine which has LOADS of info and girls who have pre-post op pictures who are happy to share them with us pre-op ladies (been a great help to me!)

Enough waffling from me!lol if u want to know anything else just ask :)

Iv booked with MYA, having Gary Traynor on 22nd June

Thanks very much Helet113…..i have got lots of info through the post and i have been looking at clinic’s but really wouldnt no how to pick a surgen?? i live in bradford so leeds or manchester is my closest. i will take a look at that website, this will help me i think, i am currently a very small B on the left side and a normal B on the right side with a 38 back i think……lost lots of weight so not sure anymore could be all smaller, think ill get measured again before i go for consultations. i have looked into the risks (i am a student nurse so look into that side of things without even thinking haha)

I hope you op goes well. Id like it if you could stay in touch and let me no how it all goes for you? if you dont mind me asking could i ask what size you are and what size you are going too?

    Thanks

    Hi hun,

Im a qualified nurse so were on the same wavelength!lol Risks was first thing i looked into aswell!

Well theres a few companies in Manhester, 2 main ones are transform and MYA but they tend to have the same surgeons! The surgeon im having is in Manchester & has a very good reputation. As for leeds i wouldnt know but if u put a post on the sofem website asking for good surgeons in leeds the girls on there will let you know!all really helpful and ive got a world of info off that website!I thinkin best way of picking a surgeon is finding out of sofem the best surgeons in ur area and then researchig 3 of them yourself to check qualifications etc.

Im currently a 34a, having 380cc unders which im hoping will take me to a D cup! What size do you want to be? No probs about staying in touch, il give u my email address and just email me after my op date to find out how it went cus i might forget!lol email is h_threlfall@hotmail.com

When u hoping to have ur op done?xx
