Hi I am new and need help! BA (340cc or 380cc?!)

Hi everyone….

I decided to have my ba as since having my twins last year Ive gone from a 32B to a 32A cup and was very unhappy. Ive had my consultation and booked the surgery. Only thing is my surgeon gave me two choices… a 340cc or a 380cc. The surgeon said the 340cc would roughly be a C cup, and the 380 a D. However when I went into the next room to see the patient consultant she told me a 340cc would more likely be a D cup and the 380cc would be from a DD to an E!! Im so confused…. I dont really want to be an E cup but would like to be a D at least…

I am 5ft2, size 8/10 dress size, 7.5st so very small frame. (oh and Im 28!)

Anyone got similar stats that could help? I am booked in two weeks (23rd June) so need to let them know at least 4 days before op for definate.

hi, im 6 weeks post op. i was a 34 c but a very empty one, they looked more like a b cup. i had the choice of 340 or 380. so glad i went for the 380. i am prob now a 34e, but they dont look big at all. im 5ft2, 8stone5. size 8. always go for the bigger option as fake boobs dont look as big as real ones for some reason. x there is not much difference in the 340-380. to be honest i wish i had gone for a little bigger but didnt get the option . x

hi snowangel, i am taller than you at 5ft 7 and size 10/12 and weight 10 stone, but i had 380cc and went from an empty 34b to a full 34e

hi, i’m 5ft 4, 9and 1/2 stone, and i had 410’s, i’m wearing a 34/36D sports bra, but i am only 3 weeks post op!

i had the option of 380’s or 410 and had to go for the bigger option, my boobs were quite empty and droppy and i didnt want to be disapointed and only go up one size, i wanted them to fil out and be round. . . xx

Hi Cazxpink… what is sofem? (sorry if that’s a stupid question!!)You sound a similar size to me though so that size to me sounds ideal. Are you happy with them hun?

I had 340cc unders last friday. I have an athletic build & slightly bigger frame than you but am 5’0 dress size 8/10 & 8.5 stone.

Have had 2 children, breast fed both & was 36aa pre op. Bit early days to say what size I’ll end up as still quite swollen & hard, but I’m wearing a 36D sports bra & anticipate being about a full C to small D.

You’re an A cup already with a smaller frame than me, so I’m guessing what I had would most likely make you a D cup?

I didn’t want to look top heavy because i’m not very tall, but have quite broad shoulders & chest & I’m happy I didn’t go bigger because it suits my frame & am very pleased with the results.

Is a real tough one, i changed my mind twice about shapes & sizes – then changed my mind again half an hour before op!!!

Hi there, i would def opt for the 380cc, as if you achieved an dd to an e cup, they do not actually look as big as the real thing. for example i had 340cc overs from a saggy 34b after 2 kids, and now i measure a 32e-f, but they only look a d-dd in clothes, they arent that noticible, and look very natural. I reckon a 380cc from an a cup will give you a dd cup! def def opt for the biggest, and dont think of there sizes being massive, implant sizes are really wide and flat to real boobs. Anybody on here will tell you the same, so go for the biggest XX

Thanks Nancy & janeyh that’s really helped. At the moment i’m leaning towards the 380cc implants…. mainly because most people are saying that the sizes don’t look as big as they measure. I’ve still got a few days to decide but your advise has really helped thanks x

I would tend to go with what the implant looks like when you try them on at the surgeon consultation (when they give you a sports bra and you can put the implant inside it to get an idea of size) rather than going for a certain cup size, as cups look different on everyone. Insist on trying a range of sizes to get what YOU are happy with, my surgeon first handed me a pair I thought were HUGE when I asked for a natural look, I made sure to take my time and try on every size they had in the office til we agreed on the size. After all it is your money and your body so YOU need to be happy with the decision, not the surgeon! If they limit your options ask to see someone else.

In case you are curious I went from a very flat 34B to a large full 34C with 325cc anatomical shape over the muscle. Just had my op a couple of days ago, so far happy
