Hi ladies getting nervous now…..

Got my 2nd consult next week n my Ops 22nd aug having my nose done by dr gonschoir Can’t waitbut I’m really nervous any last minute preparations I should making like vitamins/rubbing cream on??? If any 1 would share their b4s n afters I’d really appreciate it x

Hiya rosie. I had my nose done with dr.G in april and even though I’m still a bit swollen and healing, it has made me so happy and I don’t have one single regret!!! My advice would be to take a couple of pillows with you in the car for the journey back, I’m so pleased I did this! Definitely take a zip up hoodie or what ever with u and a buttone up shirt so that u don’t have to put anything over ur head! A really comfy bra as well, or just don’t wear one lol. U will defo need some magazine or a book. When u wake up u will probably have a dry mouth and throat so drink loads, not any thing that will hurt though like fizzy drinks cos they will be sharp for u, if that makes sense. Tea helped for me, think it was the warmth of it. If u have long hair u can’t always have it up and u can’t have anything metal on u when having the op, so maybe take a plastic band with u. I wasn’t even allowed hairgrips. Some body wipes because ur room only has a shower and u may feel a bit grubby after it and in the morning. I wore to go home in, some jogging bottoms and a hoodie. U need to be as comfy as u can, u will really appreciate it! Good luck, and any more qsts just ask. U should add me as a friend xxxx

Hey rosiepoley I’m having mine done by Dr G on 26th sept, so excited!! Did u have 2 consultations with him? What all are u having done? I was originally told open by one mya surgeon but Dr G says he would do it closed! Having bump removed and wee bit tip work (width reduced slightly n droppy tip corrected) Worried now tho that he can’t do as much with closed! Sure he knows best tho! Did any of u worry you would be left with a long nose when bump gone? X

hiya im having Dr G basically ive got… a deviated septum (causes no probs breathing etc) n a big old hump n one bridge is larger on my left side.. but all im having done is hump removal and whatever else Dr G can do… im not bothered by the dev. sep so whatever he can do ill be happy with……i was more worried when it was going to be open sugery tbh! and DR G knows best! i had 2 consults and he is lovely very friendly knows what he doing and i trust him to do a great job… at the end of the day he can only work with what ive got and anything will be an improvement so fingers crossed xxx
