highblood pressure and palpitation after op

Hi ladies pls has anyone had highblood pressure and palpitaion after your op, has this has been a problem for me. The nurse says there is no corelation, but wanna find out if its a problem with me or anyone else is goin thru this.

Hey, I had tachycardia (increased heart-rate) immediately post-op, for about 13 hours. The aneasthestics and analgesics will affect blood pressure, and the palpitations are a symptom of your heart and circulatory system coping with the raised, or lowered, BP. The nurse should know this!! How long ago was your op?

If you’re concerned I would contact your GP to check what they say…

i was getting palpitations and over heating from the strong painkillers they sent me home with.x

At Karenw, my op was exactly 2weeks ago.

I had low blood pressure after my op but its gradually gone up while i have been drinking more! xx
