Highgate Tuesday 22nd June???

Hi

Just after some advice please…. I am booked as a daycase on this coming Tuesday and haven’t yet managed to book a hotel in Highgate – can anyone recommend anywhere to stay.

was also wondering if it is really necessary to say in a hotel as I would much prefer to be at home after the op…. However I live in wales so it is about 3 hours drive away and I don’t know how much pain i’ll be in afterwards either…. has anyone gone home after the op??? Or would you advise to stay close to the hospital incase something does go wrong? That does seem like an obvious question lol but I haven’t read many horror stories most people seem to be ok after the op so I’m hoping I’ll be the same.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey lucky you! .. I’m @ highgate on tues too but I’m staying in overnight cos I also live in wales and ont fancy the journey home. (where in wales do ulive .. I’m from Newport) My hubby is coming with me but he cant stay at hospital so I’ve booked him into Days Inn hotel its about 5.4 miles from the hospital and looks lovely AND only cost £30 (no breakfast either)

What size are you having if U dont mind me asking?? x

I live not far from Pontypridd. We’ve looked at Days inn but there aren’t any rooms available lol…. I was booked for a night case at first but changed to day case last week as I didn’t really want to stay in hospital…. My admission time is 12pm, and I’m having 460cc’s not sure yet whether I’m having unders or overs as he said I can have either so I haven’t decided yet…. I’m a 34b at the moment and hoping to be a D cup afterwards. Dr Falladhar is doing my surgery – who is doing yours and what size are you having? I am off out shopping today for sports bras.

Maybe I will see you on Tuesday – if not good luck with your op.

Bummer about Days … I just googles accomodation near highgate … alot of the very near by ones are hostels

I’m currently a very grim a/aa cup so having 260cc with Dr. Chantrassak (falladhar refused me as I have medical history) as I havent got much breast tissue or fat and I’ve had 2 children I’m having unders, apparently unders look more natural. I’m aiming for a c cup so I look/feel in proportion and finally buy some sexy underwear and bikini’s!!

Bought my sports bra’s friday lol .. how grose!!!! and how much material??? oh well, beauty pinches as they say … total turn off for the hubby but all worth it in the end I think

ah well… Thanks for looking – if we can’t find anywhere in highgate we’re just gonig to book to stay in Wembley which is or 6 miles from the hospital so its not too far. I have had 2 children 2 and I am an empty B cup at the moment… I’m a little worried about the size and whether they’ll look in proportion or not but I did tell the surgeon that I only wanted to be a D cup and nothing more (obviously they’ll be bigger at first cos they’re swollen)… Seems strange that Dr Falladhar would refuse you due to medical history…

Managed to get my Bra’s today – they’re minging aren’t they lol…. It’ll all be worth it in the end though I’m sure…. 6 weeks of wearing those will do my head in ha ha….

What is you’re admission time on Tuesday? have u been told yet?

Apparently he refused because he’s so precautious and felt I could be a/at risk!! cheeky git .. more like he just weren’t interested! Nver mind tho, chantrassak has good reports and lots of experience so I’m confident with him.

How old are your children?? I have 2 girls aged 8 and 4.

I’m slightly worried about the size bit too but spoke to a few people who have simlar stats to me and had same size implant … some have been a d and some a c cup. Think it generally depends on your body and where U buy your bra’s. I’m glad he offered me unders because I was going to request he did it that way. I’m totally dreading the sleeping upright and sports bra malarky lol .. it’ll be like self torture til we can free ourselves.

I’m there for 12 midday too .. 39 hours to go!!!

One more sleep to go lol….

I have a little girl who is 3 and a little boy who is 10 months… .I know I’m dreading the sleeping upright and not being able to have showers etc but I’m sure it will all be worth it in the end…..

I’m not too nervous about it at the moment but think i will be in a right mess tomorrow ha ha…. I’m more worried about being put to sleep than anything else cos I hate needles…. I’ve been put to sleep before when I had teeth taken out and after I had my last baby….. and I was awful to them when they woke me up cos I didn’t want the oxygen mask on my face kept pulling it off and shouting at them…. oops – they must’ve thought I was a nightmare…. hopefully I won’t do that this time lol….

Ah well – hopefully I’ll see you tomorrow…. good luck if I don’t. xx

ARGGGGGHHHH!!! we’re almost there!!

I’m feeling quite calm n colected at the moment 2 .. we’ll see how 2night treats us lol. I’m not one for needles at all but i’m not worried about the going to sleep bit I’m worried about waking up and meeting the twins for the first time. although I have had had experience in the past where a doctor took a right gobfull off when they woke me up. I’ll try to drum into myself “mustnt sit up” and “dont abuse the staff” on waking!!

Hi Ceri…

Hope you are ok and you’re op went well… was hoping to see you sometime yesterday before I left the hospital but didn’t know what room you were in…. I got let out about 10 last night… How are you feeling?

I am ok…. didn’t sleep well last night cos I couldn’t get comfortable, my boobs are sore but not as painful as i expected them to be it’s bareable.

What time did u go down to theatre… I went about 1.15pm and was back in my room by 2.30… I didn’t think much of the hospital and staff though, but have no complaints about my surgeon, thought he was great. I’m pleased with my results and am wearing a 34e bra at the moment so I should be a d or DD once they settle down hopefully.

Hey hun .. I agree about the pain, more discomfort in my arms n ribs than my boobs lol. I went to theatre at 3 and was back in my room by 415 … outside having a ciggy by 6 :0)

I’m struggling to sleep .. found it easier last night on the settee with v shape pillow. Itching to have a bath!!

I’m pleased with the results so far, I’m in a c/d sports bra at the mo. cant wait for them to drop and come closer. Waht does your partner think so far?? mine said he preferred me b4 but I’ll soon change that lol

I didn’t have a fag all day till I got let out…. if i’d known we could go out for one I’d have been downstairs after my op lol…. I didn’t think he was going to do my op at first cos he asked if I’d stopped smoking when he came to see me and I told him i hadn’t but I’d cut down…. he then gave me a lecture about the risks and complications and asked if I wanted to come back once I’d stopped smoking – I told him no I’ll go ahead lol….

My partner prefers mine the way they were too, he didn’t really want me to have it done but he gave into my constant nagging and let me go ahead with it… i’m sure he’ll like them eventually lol….

I feel great today no pain at all, had a bath last night and my mam washed my hair over the bath for me…. slept much better last night so hopefully the worst of the pain is over…
