Hit my nose really hard!!! 6 weeks post op!

Hi,

My div of a bf headbutted me in the face by accident last night right on the tip of my nose!! it was sooo painful i actually cried!

It looks ok today but im worried its damaged!

Has anyone else had this so soon post op?

Hey hun! Yeh i was thinking i should do that.. it feels fine today though.. but seeing as we are not supposed to even be touching our noses yet im just worried its done some damage i cant see

thats a dumpable offence in my book! bones have fully healed by 6 weeks so no damage will have been done unless it was hard enough to break it xx

I would definitely get in touch, even just to put your mind at rest. I do remember Mr G talking to me about hitting the nose and he said at about my PO (which was approx 4-5 months at the time) then if it got hit really hard it wouldnt do damage. And I think i rememeber reading about a girl who smacked her nose really soon after the op and she was reassured all was ok.

May have been me, I hit my nose really hard at about 8 weeks cos someone knocked into me on the tube! It hurt for about a day so I went to see dr G and he said it was fine, by six weeks ur nose is pretty much set and any damage would be immediately noticeable so unless you have a massive bump ur fine x x

Aww ok thanks girls! It’s not hurting today and there Ian any damage I can see so that’s good!! It’s def not broken as I would be in pain today I’m sure!

Seeing Dr G on the 3rd of April so will mention it to him when I go aswel though just in case!!
