hiyaaaa. i think youll be okay on holiday but you will have to cover your boobs up all the time, especially the scars. because your skin on your boobs will be very stretched itll be almost like its badly sunburnt already (my boob skin was peeling off) if you get your boobs in the sun at this stage you might be more at risk of stretch marks and damaged skin. also… you cant go in the pool, you dont want anyones germs getting into your scars.
plus i doubt youll be able to lift too much (Suitcase etc)
youll be okay. just be careful. dont go mad. and keep covered up.

    Hiya,

Do you think it will be ok to sunbathe 2 months after the op?
I don’t plan on going topless and im going to keep my scars covered. Im thinking SPF 40!! ha! 🙂

Thanks Janey. I’ll keep covered up. Taking my sports bra for night time but hopefully will be able to manage a bikini top for a little bit at day time. Ill keep covered up and will def stay out of the pool. Thank you for your advice. Hope your ok. Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Hannah-Maria, I’m 3 weeks post op now. I had overs and I feel as though I would be fine going on holiday… I would even go in the pool as my scars have completely healed already I’m well chuffed… I cant believe how quickly they’ve healed in fact! I’m bathing normal so I personally dont see the difference between that and being in a pool.. As long as your scars have healed.. I would definitely keep them covered up as much as its probably tempting to show off your new boobies!!!

At the end of the day though everyone is different so you just have to go with how you feel at the time… xx You’ll know though…

oh thanks leanne. Glad that your healing quick it’s good to know. How long did you have off work. I’ve booked a week off. have you had much pain???? xxxxx

Hi, I booked 10 working days off work but brought my post op check up forward so I could go back early as I felt fine.. I ended up having off a week. The first day back I was really achey but I have to drive sometime to appointments for my job and this probably didnt help..I couldnt wait to get home and take my bra off!!
As far as pain is concerned its weird cos its not exactly pain as such its more like an ache or stiffness and your just restricted to certain movements.
I have a 2 year old and after the 2nd day I was able to pick her up although it wasnt the easiest thing to do!!
Everyone is different though and like I said before I had overs and they arent supposed to be as painful as unders..

    What are you having? xx

Im having unders so i prob will take a bit longer to recover than you. I havent decided on sizes yet thought. Im5ft5 size 6/8 and currently 34A/B. I’m either having 340cc or 380cc. i have considered overs though. im soo undecisive… any advice??????? xxxxxxxx

I was 36 b/c and I had 380cc and now i’m wearing a 38dd sports bra (bigger back as it was rubbing on my scar) I’m hoping once I go back sown a size I will go to and E! My advice would be to definitly go for the bigger size offered.. :-) You read about so many girls on here wishing they had gone bigger or having more BA’S!!
I was never offered unders.. I think you can only have overs if you have enough breast tissue… Although overs are supposed to sag quicker than unders..Also depends on what look you want. I asked for a natural look and was quite specific that I didnt want them to look high or round (Victoria Beckham style)! You should discuss this with your PC as I’m not 100%, its only what I’ve read on here. They’re the experts not us… LOL XX

Thanks leanne thats brill. do yours look natural now? think i will go for the bigger size, i have read that some ppl wish they had gone bigger too xxxxx
