Hoodectomy no difference??? – Labiaplasty & Hoodectomy

Hey girls, I’m 10 days post op and overall really happy with my results *so far*. The pain has been minimal too which is great. My labia minora seem to be smaller than my labia majora now which I’m really happy about. However, the clitoral hood still seems really bulky and still sits outside of the majora slightly. I hoped for a completely tucked “barbie” look from the top to the bottom but the hood seems to protrude slightly which is frustrating as that is not what I wanted. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I’m hoping it’s just still swelling because I am only 10 days post op. But it looks like it’s going to stay bulky 🙁

Wondering what your outcome was. I’m having the same problem and I’m worried

To be honest it does seem to be going down as the days go by so it is potentially just swelling. Right now even though it is not 100% Barbie tucked, it does still look lovely and neat so perhaps it will continue to stop swelling. I’m only 11 days post op so I’ll update end of week 3 (21 days) to see how much it has changed xx

I no 100% what you mean. Mine the same labia is amazing small and neat but my hood is still hanging 🙁 . What surgon did you have? X

I’m booked in for Friday to have hoodectomy and labiaplasty did your swelling go down after the 21 days?

I’m also the same!! Did you swelling go down? I’m 2 weeks post op today and I’m very unsymmetrical too which I never was before!

Hey ladies I’m looking at getting this done, do u know how long the waiting list is from first consultation to op date? Also what’s the procedure now? Online consultations then straight to have the op? X

Hey girls – I am really wanting the surgery, but my main issue I feel is the hood! I would like the labia trimming also (labiaplasty) but the hood is my main issue , I’m so worried of getting it done and being upset that there’s not much change to the hood ! Xx
