Hoodectomy

Is the hoodectomy done under general anaesthetic or can it done be done with local just like the labiaplasty? It’s just I don’t really want to get put to sleep! Any info would be great, thank you!

During my consultation, I was told it would be done on general. I assume the surgeons prefer patients to be asleep as it is easier
