Hope this breast band is worth it

Just wondered why mario uses this awful breast band it’s so uncomfortable and other surgeons use sports bras, what’s the difference ??

I know it’s supposed to push the implant into a natural pocket or something bur just wondered the girls that just wear a sports bra what happens there??

Havnt had much info on it really and it’s so irritating and itchy and I feel like I can’t breath properly sorry for the rant.

Did u have unders? I think they are used to compress the implant and help them drop quicker, they tend to sit quite high to start with xx

Yeah unders Hun, just wondered that the girls that wear just a bra do theirs drop into place aswel I’m just confused perhaps it’s just a surgeon preference thing xx

its doing my head in! ive been quite naught and have only worn it about 60/70% of the time + when im sleeping just cant bloody breathe wit the bugger on! xx

I have beem bandaged and have a sports bra on! (transform) get the bandage taken off on tuesday, cant wait!! X

I reckon it’s just the surgeons preference. I had mr t and I’m just in sports bra x

Iv got Mario on the 6th Oct, and dreading the breast band!! I dont understand y we gotta have it… lol. Guess he knows wat he’s talking bout but it doesn’t sound like the most comfortable thing!! xxxxxx

It will be girls,says she who never had to wear it,lol.I have asked the question and im waiting for an answer,why is this to be worn what is its purpose.

The purpose of the breast band is of extreme importance in achieving a better result.

He believe by using the breast band it helps avoid double bubble.xxx

Thanks tina I know I’ve got to wear mine for a week, and then no bra at all which I’m dreading I’m back in work next week and no bra, eeek im not looking forward to this surely it would be ok to wear a sports bra I thought I would need some sort of support, I’m just confused. I really wish Mario has explained things properly to us coz the nurses didn’t have a clue xx

The nurse I had at the hospital told me I should wear the band for 3 weeks and then another nurse came on shift she looked at it stupid as if she never seen one before xx

Mario Russo yes? I just had my pre-op medical, my BA is 4th October. The nurse warned me that i should take a sports bra with me but then may wake up being told to a) wear no bra for a period of time, b)wear nothing for a period of time or, c) wear a sports bra and this band too. She say Dr Russo is fickle and they never know when he going to put the band on/not allow people to wear the sports bra. Nurse said that seeing as mine will be overs b) is most likely. Btw please do add me if you have any useful info you think ishold know! xx

Yeah everyone is different Hun I got told this, I went in thinking I was having overs but had unders in the end as he recommended them being better and also I didn’t have enough breast tissue for 410 cc. I didn’t know until I woke up but I guessed with the amount of pain o was in. Just make sure u get to speak with him afterwards to get all info about breastband etc coz nurses won’t tell u as everyone is different xx
