    Hey girls!

Another question from me! I just wondered if anyone on here has had a BA and then ridden afterwards?! I’m a very horsey person and do this for a job, although currently not working! :) I’ve got my BA on feb 17th, how long do people think it should be till mucking out riding etc again? :)

    Thanks girlies!

Hi huni. I too am a horsey person and was told I wouldn’t be able to ride for 6 weeks to be safe, my auntie has a 28 year old clydesdale who can barely move so I think I may ride her to get back into it before getting on the younger feistier horses I’m used too, haha.

As for mucking out I’m not too sure

Hey girls.. I work with racehorses, an i’m having mine done when we have the summer off (usually 8weeks) Mr Singh said i’d be able to get back riding after 6weeks but take it slowly.. They say no heavy lifting for 6 weeks.. So that includes mucking out etc :) … & when u do start doing it all again, if u ache .. STOP .. as its ur bodies way of telling u ur doing 2much for ur new additions to cope :) ..

    Hope this helps!

I was six weeks Friday just gone and I went for my first hack on Monday she behaved herself which I am thankful for we only had a few moment when she wanted to boom off. I was fine afterwards. I have been going up the horses from about 4 weeks post op I just turned out and fetched at the start then about 5 weeks started mucking out I just listened to my body if it could cope then I would carry on but if I felt and pain or pulling I would leave it. :-)
