hospital bill for my meds i had while i was there??? anyone help?????

got a bill for £16ish from the hospital for pain relief while i was there…..i was under the impression that all expenses from hospital were paid? it was for co-codamol and an anti inflammatory they told me to take. didnt expect to be billed for it

That’s strange. Considering how much we are paying they have a bloody cheek to charge for medication! I havint had my op yet but I’ve never seen anyone else on the forum say they have to pay for their meds xx

i got 1 too waa it from parkhill i text my pc n told her i wasnt paying it and ahe sorted it xx

That’s so bad when your paying all that money, it does not cost £16 for those kind of tablets for a month never mind just while u were in hospital xxxxx

It’s a mistake you don’t have to pay meds, our final price includes them so contact your pc and dont pay it hun X

yeah beckie it was parkhill, il give mya a call and get it sorted then, wouldnt mind but its cost me £4500 n that seems a lot compared to what they charged other people anyway! ergh thanks for replies ladies xx

U def shudnt pay as its an error. Its all included in ur fee. Call ur pc n tell her n they wil sort it xx
