I stayed at comfort inn at finchley. On the site their was mc donalds/cinema/bowling/restarants. So plenty to do the day before. I spent a lovely day with my hubby the day b4 op. The hotel is basic, but you got a full english brekkie which was great as that filled hubby up for the day in highgate. Plus the next day we did not travel home on a empty stomach. it cost me £142 for the both of us for 2 nights. 2 easy miles to highgate about 5 min drive. xx

    ahh thank you!

How did you get to the hospital? Did it take long or cost much?

    Is brekki included or extra?

Did you have a comfortable night sleep? x

My hubby drove me their, parked in their car park. Brekki came in with the price. Room was basic, had tea/coffee facilities. slept fine the day b4 and night after. Probably only be £5/8 in a taxi, but was really easy to drive. xx

Hey Hun, I live in Newport and am staying in the Holiday Inn Express in Golders Green, I checked out the Comfort Inn but they’ve put their prices up lately so this one is cheaper and still includes brekky. It’s just as close too!

roxy06 Its North London and its not in the Congestion Zone, ive checked. You can check the postcode to see if they fall in the congestion zone.

Im on comfort hotel which isnt in congestion zone, neither is hospital ;-)

Does anyone know if there is a “pay as you go gym” near the Comfort Inn as my boyfriend has a professional fight the week after my op so feel I should at least accomodate him as he’s coming with me :-) but don’t want to pay loads of money! x
