Heres my debate…im not the best at coping with pain..although ive had 2 kids both c-sections and didnt actually find it too bad at all. My question is to anyone who has had a c-section and undergone a boob job (i think ill need to have unders as im a 32a) is what did you find worst or easiest to cope with? Any advice is much appreciated xxx

    Hi Wish

I have a one year old, by c-section and was in a lot of pain for weeks after. I had my ba 8 weeks ago and was really suprised at how little pain I had, also I could not take all the painkillers as they made me sick but did not need any extra pain relief, it isn’t really painful more uncomfortable. The hardest part was not being able to hold my little boy close for the first few weeks as my boobs were very tender.

Hope this helps, good luck and don’t worry about the pain it’s well worth it.

    Hi firstimer1
I had my BA 9 days ago (unders). I have four children and breast fed three of them. I have lost count how may times I have had mastitis while breastfeeding. I was prone to it unfortunately!!! I can promise you that having and recovering from a BA is NOT as bad as having mastitis. Mastitis is very, very painful as you know. My surgeon told me, a BA is not as bad as mastitis, thank goodness I believed him and he was right!!! All I’ve felt so far after my BA is quite a bit of stiffness/tightness across your chest, which is a bit uncomfortable, but its not pain. The only bit of pain that I have had was in one of my incisions. Thankfully it didn’t last for long. You will be absolutely fine! xx
