Discomfort opening doors, flushing toilet, putting dressing gown on, opening/closing car doors and putting on seat belt. There wasn’t really anything I couldn’t do, just struggled a bit xx

Oh and to go from sitting to standing, I had to shuffle to the edge of the seat before I could stand up and found it uncomfortable to push myself up using my arms xx

I’m not too worried about the pain but about the not being able to breathe feeling dye to pressure. Don’t want to panic and make situation worse! Going in on 9th April for 300cc overs x

Ahh okay, yeah I’m worried about that to! Anyone got any little ones? How long did that take them to get back to normal things with them e.g. picking them up, bathing them etc. I have a 2 year old. Also did you all have the macom post op bras?
    xx

would definitely recommend having someone with you for 1 week to help with the little one, although you may be fine after the op with the pain and etc and don’t feel you need help I was recommend it as you can cause damage by having to lift them up! or even 5 days at least! if you ask your surgeon and pc they will recommend whats best anyway but that’s my personally opinion but I don’t have children but my nieces but everyone that iv spoke to or seen they have said a week! and second week just be very carefull try to limit it if you can xxx

wow I like the word BUT a lot ahha meant to say I don’t have children just my nieces atm x

Ahh really that’s great Nikki, I’m good with pain so think I’ll be alright but I’m such a worrier so probably just worrying myself now! SO excited. Have added you all as friends, hope you don’t mind 🙂 xx

Hey, I’m 1 week post op with overs and have a 3 yr old, I’ve been lucky to have my mum around during the days to help and I’ve avoided lifting things- my lil boy is really good at the mo and knows I can’t pick him up yet… I prob could if I tried just don’t want to cause any damage! Not really painful just a bit sore and uncomfortable, the worst thing is getting up in the morning! But I’m doing things as normal just a bit more careful. The Macom was great when I had the strapping on but since I’ve had strapping off it doesn’t feel very supportive underneath so I just got a sports bra with a band underneath. Xx

Hi Cheryl. Don’t worry too much about the breathing. It does restrict it the first hour or so and u feel like u can’t take a deep breath but it passes. Don’t worry xx

not tryin to scare u but iv had a quite a lot of pain. the painkillers have helped but Iv needed my mam with me up to now, I’m 3 days post op. it’s starting to get a bit better now but my mam has to push me out of bed on a morning and help me to the toilet still. xx

I have quite a lot of pain in my right boob and they feel really tight. I over did it this morning and fainted on the bed. I’m 1 day post op. I’m on the painkillers but I think they are making me feel sick. Lack of sleep last night aswell don’t think it helps. Everyone is different xx
