How did you pay for your BA?

Hi girls,

Just out of interest how did you pay for your BA? I’d like to do the 12 interest free payment however I’ve heard they are quit strict & I don’t have a good credit rating neither does my partner. I was thinking of getting a loan with my bank. Has anyone done this? Did you tell them it was for a BA?

My boyfriend took a loan out for me but he told them it was for home improvements not cosmetic surgery as some lenders dont like to give out money for surgery!!

I just paid mine outright. I dont like the idea of loans and everything. My car is on finance, that is enough worry for me haha x

I got a loan from my bank and said it was for a used car.. Felt bad doing it but was too embarrassed to say it was for boobs! Lol xxx

Can you not get into trouble lying what it is for? Laura we don’t like to get anything on credit but I’d prefer the, sooner then later. We don’t have any credit cards or anything else on finance so not much to worry about really. X

I have mine on 12 month finance paid 2000 upfront and put the rest on finance xx

Hiya PrincessShev1520.. yano if ya put a higher deposit down say 2000 like you did, do they stil run finance checks and if so is it any easier cuz you put a higher deposit ?

They still run checks but the smaller the amount you get on finance the more likely you are to get accepted for finance!! My credit rating is quite good because I have had credit cards and things on finance and always paid them off on time but have spoken to other ladies and the company that Mya use (121 finance) are suppose to be really good at accepting people even if their credit rating is not that great xx

Paid some upfront and got a loan from sainsburys for the rest! X

Iv been doing piggy bank scheme since last May, and finally paid the full balance 2 weeks ago!! So glad that i wnt have a stinkin loan hangin over my head after my op! Xx

I just wrked every hour possible to save up before having it done x

i used 121 and they are brill! did the same as princessShev, payed half upright and other half on finance! :DXx

Yep piggy bank is easy, once it leaves ur bank to there then u kno u cant spend it, theres nothon worse than saving up in ur own bank and seeing loads of nice clothes lol. Plus ur not paying any ridiculous APR after!! The whole pay more deposit thing to get accepted for credit is not true, credit is credit and ur either gunma get accepted or not, i tryed for the last £1k because i was getting desperate and they told me no xx
