How do I tell work about my BA??

Hey ladies,

I’ve just started a new job at the beginning of October and i tried to book my holidays for my BA (without telling them that im having a BA)

But I can’t book the time off work for my BA, so i have no choice but to put it down as sick,

I want to be upfront with them and tell them im having an operation but what do I say? I’m worried that they won’t see it as a real reason to book a week off sick. What do i doo?

Jus tell them the truth, I would! Buggar all they can say is there? I wouldn’t worry Hun, I’m sure all the ladies will be envious!xxx

why can’t you have holidays? Did you get the job before or after you booked your ba? You should have told them in the interview that you had a holiday booked, most companies would honour it. You are going to have to tell them hun, tell them you didn’t envisage it would be a problem so you didn’t mention it, but you did book and pay for it before you took the job and if you don’t go ahead you will lose money. xxx

Dont worry hun iv had to take it as sick n i was told aslong as i av a sick note to cover it there will be no problem, and my PC has told me Mya will provide a sick note. Xx

but will this sick not note state it was for cosmetic surgery hun? then work will question u xx

nope,they just say recent surgery and state not fit for work. xxx

the reason that i didnt tell them at my interview was because my op wasnt officially set yet, but now it is so ive got to tell them. im a terrible lier so im gona find it so hard not to tell them its for a boob job when they say “aaw why are you having an operation”. i just dont wana be judged either, espeically since im the “new girl” xxxx

rachipoo – my pc told me i wud get a sicknote! WRONG!!! the surgeon wrote me a letter saying i had had surgery…. I had to contact my GP fpr a sicknote hun xx just be warned my company wud not accept the surgeons letter x
