How do you know when its ok to stop pain killers??????

hi, i have not been in any pain since op but dont know if that is due to the pain killers lol, shall i stop them and see or just keep taking them until they have all gone?

How long are you sleeping at night? And when you wake if you dont need a painkiller straight away then you can do same ammount of hours during day. I just stopped mine n if i felt i needed one took one. But only ever did twice i think. I took mine for the first 4 to 5 days.

My friend only used em for a day as she felt they didnt do anything for her.

i take my last one at 10pm and then i take the next one at 10am but im not in pain when i take it, i just thought i better had in case the pain starts to come. I will just take my anti-biotics then. thanks hun.

I stopped mine on about day three, took just one paracetamol then if i was hurting, day 6 now and not taken anything for a couple of days

I didnt take any its more tightness n uncofey than pain chick i’ad say dont take them xx

I took pain meds for the first 3/4 days but came off them as my pain wasn’t as bad and plus i hadn’t had any bowel movement and I was so bloated! Also I had more of an achey feeling than pain as days went on. I think you have to judge for yourself when you need to take pain meds but it won’t do you any harm to stop taking them if you feel you don’t need them. Just make sure you finish your anti-biotic meds honey. Happy healing!! xxx

I haven’t needed any pain relief. I think if you’re not waking up in any pain then you’re probably ok to stop. You can always take some if you start feeling some pain. Xxx
