How hard is it 2 dress urself post op??

Ive been lookin at buying a atracksuit I can wear home from the hospital. Is it hard lifting ur arms up 2 put a top on hoddies ect. Or just stick 2 baggy clothes for a while. x

Hey hun. It is very tricky so definately something you can zip up or button up. Im one week post op today and still can’t lift my arms above my head. (I had unders though). Had to ask for help getting dressed. Socks etc. It’s an experience for sure.

I found bottom half ok but top half defo loose/stretchy top (stretchy strappy vest you can step into is ok). I had overs and I think unders are more tricky at first x

I struggled to put my socks on this morning-will be ok if ur legs are quite bendy! xx

I am 5 days post off. I was worried cause I didnt have many zip up/button up tops.. I am wearing normal vest tops since day 1… I just step into them & pull them up & quickly slip my arms through… xx

Sounds like my boyfriend’s going to have a fun time dressing me post op. He’s taken a week off to help me out bless him. xx
