Im just wondering what reactions to expect when I have my BA done. Its been on my mind because Im more nervous as to how people who know me will react. Nobody knows Im getting it done, Id love to hear some of other peoples experiences.

Do people ask you out right – Have you had your boobs done? Do they ask you why you look different? Is there a dramatic change when you’ve had them done or do people not notice???

I have a very good professional job and im wondering how my colleagues will react. Some people are so narrow minded that they put girls who have BAs down – harsh but im sure all you post ops have come across it!

I would just like to be prepared, or to have some lines ready for if any nosey parkers stick their noses in!

    Thanks girls xx

    Good post!

I’m feeling the same way, having my BA in 10 days and then going to be at work two weeks later :/ will try to stay inside for the first week and avoid seeing people lol

I work with v narrow minded people who have nothing better to do than start rumours and bitch (lovely place to work haha) so I don’t want anyone to say anything!

    xx

I’m in the same position as u guys,I haven’t told anyone except my bf who’s been really supportive as he knows it’s something I’ve been thinking about for years.I have a professional job too but hoping my unifrom will mainly cover things up so there’s not too much gossipping! All the lasses I work with have massive boobs anyway…not jealous like…! It’s my bf’s mates reactions that I’m dreading as they’ll be bound to notice straight away but I think it’ll be easier to have a laugh about it all with them? xx

    Menu

Yeah good questions lol i am getting myn done in 3 weeks.

I am in a professional office job working with mostley men :( but also some females so havent told anyone at work either. Am sure there will be bitchy comments tho.

I am just going to start gradually wearing the rice bras until i get to the size i am going to be and hopefully they wont notice haha. I might just say i have invested in a new bra?

I hate the way people just assume its a “sex” thing but really its not at all. I am in a 5 year relationship and very happy but its something I have always wanted.

Yeah i want to wear tops showing a cleavage and feel good in a bikini but only because i want that feeling and have longed for it.

To be honest am dreading the guys comments and looks and am deffo going to cover up at work as i already have to do anyway!!

I only have the week off work haha its going to be soo hard not saying anything…..xx

    Menu

Ohh yeah forgot to add that i have the long blonde hair so dreading getting tared with the “blonde bimbo” brush haha xx

    Menu

I only have a week off too so will have to try not to wince too much if I get twinges! Btw chicken fillets, can’t wait to get rid of MY chicken fillets,I’m gonna chop them all up with a pair of scissors cos I think a ritual burning may have health implications! xx

    Its stressful isnt it!

I know a few gobby people who will have no tact and just ask me straight out. Im quite a formal kind of person around acquaintances (friends – anything goes!) but its the acquaintances im worried about! Ill die of embarrassment if i get asked “have you had your boobs done!” i lack confidence when it comes to my boobs!

Then of course there is the boyfriends family to consider, we’ve been together 6 years so i think they would notice change.

There is my own family – Its not the conversation i want to have with my dad! haha!

ALL YOU POST OP LADIES.. PLEASE LET US KNOW!! x

My bf said what will i say to my mum and i was in total shock like what 😮 why do u needty tell ur mum haha. Hes like well after 5 years am sure shel will notice….!!

I was fine telling my own mum + dad but arghh its not good when its the bf’s haha not really a conversation u wanty have with the “father in law” haha!!!xx

Hiya feel exactly the same as you girlies! Due to have mine this month, only my hubby and my bestie know at the moment. Torn as to whether to tell my mam or not, one the one side I dont want her to worry and on the other I dont want her to think I’ve hidden it from her you know?! x

    Haha!

My boyf is amazing about the BA but his family are all teachers.. his parents are in their 60s and of a generation that would not understand! Im hoping they’ll be too polite to comment but I doubt his sister will be! Oh dear!

Do you know what it annoys me lol becuase its not something we should be made to feel awkward about yet we do.

It really is something like getting your nose done, or ears etc because we feel uncomfortable with it evern if its not a facial aspect of us some people still have to see them and if we can do something about it them y not?

People who comment will just be jelous or have the real ones that are saggy whilst ours r nice and pert lol xx

My bf’s parents r in their 50s but act like they are from world war 2 and totally dont get todays generation haha not sure they would be so comfortable with it.

I dont want to sit down to a sunday dinner and suddenly have these big boobs taking over the table lol!!

I really never thought of all this. The only people that know about my new purchase is the bf, mym mum, dad and sis lol am going to give me girlies a surprise :D xx

    Menu

Oh god not even thought about the inlaws! Aargh! Family of gossips too so praps they’ll have the decency to discuss them behind my back and not to the new additions! Ha! I’m not sure about telling my mam before as she’s a worrier and don’t want her to worry about this!

wear a baggy jumper or big shirt with a belt or something! :) that’s what i’ll be doing when I can wear normal bras! I’m slightly concerned about wearing a sports bra for SIX WEEKS :/ they annoy me just going to the gym haha xx

    Menu

Yeah i suppose plus it will probably look the same in tops that are low cut as i always wore padded bras and chicken fillets lol.

I know the sports bra for 6 weeks haha great fun, but to be honest i have head a lot of people say they get attached and end up wearing it for support well after the 6 weeks. Am sure th bf will want to chop it up after the 6 weeks tho.

I showed him a macom 1 last night and he was like seriously 6 weeks haha !!xx

My boyfriend dropped the bombshell she other week whilst on the way to his parents that he told them i was having a BA done! I could have punched him! haha. He was like well its not as if they arent gonna notice!! Still i was really nervous if his mum would say anything cos I get on with her really well but she is quite outspoken and with them being in their 60’s i was worried they would think i was stupid. Luckily enough either she forgot or was to polite to say anything! haha x

    Menu

Hey girls. Before my op I started wearing 2 padded bras to make the change less obvious. Now that ive had them no1 seems to have noticed! I went to my parents this wkend and even they didnt really mention it. My sister said that every1 prob already thought had big boobs, lol.

My advise is…ppl r easily fooled and dont notice as much as u mite think. Saying this,i haven’t gone out in a low cut top yet ;) xx

    Menu

Can I also say – I also work in an office with mostly men and was worried about reactions from every1. I got scared the girls would be bitchy and men would ask questions.

I’ve had none of this-i think if u ease into it then ppl wil forget u ever had small boobs, lol. Just don’t go in 1 day flat as a pancake with a low cut top then show up the next week with massive tits in a tight top THEN it would be obvious. There are ways to be discrete and sneaky about this ;)

    Gd luck! x

my boyfs mum is, how wud u say…. gobby haha! she likes to speak her mind and i know it sound really bad but i cant be arsd with the hassle of her saying summert when i go round. at the end of the day my families been so supportive and the only people ive told are a few of my close friends, its nobody elses business. theyll always be people who will never understand why people in general get surgery to look different, its not always that they just want HUGE BOOBS its often more about a person confidence and how they feel inside and that they want to make themselves happy. ill pre warn my boyf i wont be in the mood for her comments if shes negative and he can deal with it whilst im nice and quiet and keeping my cool lol i sumtimes feel like having a boob job is kind of negative in how people perceive it, but at the end of the day we live our own life not them :D xxxx

    Menu

I thought this but then I thought nah because people say stuff about my small boobs so they will still say stuff when I have bigger boobs so I decided I didn’t give a shit aslong as I’m going to be happy and people will always talk haha! Xx

For the 1st 6 weeks you may be in a sports bra, im 5/6 days post op, mine in a sports bra looks smaller than before.!!!! lol. I went out yesterday, and bumped into a mate, she new i had it done and looked straight at my chest. Was surprised not to see anything different, so i would guess if you slowly come out of the sports bra, then no one will really notice, and if they do, say its time of the month, as they are always bigger then, Or say you have gone on the pill that makes the boobs bigger. xx

I found that after my ba a year and a half ago, that nobody at work really noticed, unless I told them. I work in an office also but nobody even looked up ha ha. But, I’d you get your cleavage out for a might onthe town, some girls give u a few dirty looks. And men gAwp!!. I remember in the summer I was walking back from town with my toddler and I didn’t have a bra on, under my strappy dress, and this old man nearly fell off his bike into a lampost. Was so funny. Put me off a bit actually, as my nips were stuck out ha ha. Mine look very natural but I can push them up to look fake and big to be noticed or just tone them down in the day. Ooh it is great though when girls chick dirty looks and men stand there silent not able to speak as you walk past!! . You feel bloody gorgeous xxx

    Menu

oooo haha janey i like ur post haha!!

well after seein this post last night – i decided to wear my 380 rice bras into work today haha……nobody noticed a thing.

I was paranoid incase one burst and i started leaking rice haha but not 1 person commented so think i am going to wear my rice boobies every day now till op time :) xx

    Menu

On a slightly different note….I was looking at sports bras in John Lewis today & the assistant came over trying to sell them to me & she said oooo ‘may I say you dont look that size’ and I said ‘no not at the moment but hopefully in a few weeks’…. she just assumed I was talking preganancy as I had my 2 youngest kids with me…. well she gasped when I said ‘no im buying myself some’ haha… bless her she went a bit red & didnt know what else to say..

She probably thought I was v vain… but nope I am just fed up of being in a 34aa childs bra .. :)

As everyone else says in a normal bra ya can barely tell – however my padded booster bras tell a different story, if you’re really bothered, just wear ‘normal’ unpadded bras.. I still live in padding and would happily go bigger & faker even though I initially wanted them VERY natural, oh well.. maybe next time :D
