How long??

How long does the tightness last for on your chest?? Feel like if i take too big a breath my implants will just pop out of me. Its not painful, just slightly uncomfortable and strange and im getting a bit teary…think the dreaded boobie blues are setting in even though i love them and am really glad i did it?! xx

Me too..had op tues and it was a bit of a rollercoaster,now home with non saggy boobs but im the same,tight,hard,swolen,high up n sore and keep freakin out a bit if i done right thing lol i always panik about stuff but tht my panaking would stop after op xx

I had my op on Tuesday aswell, Mine feel so high and still very hard, the only thing i can stand is i can feel the grinding zgainst me when i move and freaks me out ! They are slightly less swollen and possibly a little softer today, But I can not wait for this tape to be off !!! Its driving me mad !!!! xxx

I dont have any tape on so im lucky there, just this tightness and my right boobie is vibrating. I only had my op on thursday so its still very early days and im not really in any pain. Its all just a weird sensation and im not very keen Im sure it will be well worth it in the end though

weeclairebear try not to worry, its easy for me to say i know but im sure its all normal and you will love your boobs in the end…im a worrier as well though…i had a dead leg last night and convinced myself id got DVT! lol

Rachael just think its only a couple more days to go then your boobies will be free! lol xx

Many women who undergo breast surgery feel sad or anxious during their recovery. You may begin to second-guess yourself and wonder if it is ever going to get better. Some begin to think their new breasts are too high and the swelling and soreness will never go away.You will also wonder why others seem to sail through the op and recovery,if you are having a rough time,these are normal feelings,it doesnt mean anything is wrong, and can be due to any number of factors, medication side effects and reactions to the anaesthetic, as well as post-surgical stress,it does pass,just takes time, and the time varies for each person,your body has had a shock it needs time to recover,hang in there girls.It will be worth it.Does’nt feel like it right now,but it will,if you are worried about anything at all ring your nurse to put your mind at ease thats what they are there for.xxx

I found that tightness eased day by day. The significant moment was when the nurse removed the tape on day 7. That made a huuge difference. I’m sure I felt my ribcage expand once it was off. Lol.

It will get easier as the days pass and It won’t be long before you look in the mirror n say ‘wow’ this was so worth it. X

Thanks cuks, felt great yesterday and think I lulled myself into a false sense of security, overdid it and I’m paying for it today, doh! Duvet day for me for a few days me thinks xx
